Oki, much-delayed post.. Wanted to write something on 31 Dec.. to say goodbye to 2011 but i was too held up by school work so i ended up not writing a single word..
Then now it's soon to be – Chinese New Year!!!

Wishing everybody a Happy Chinese New Year as well as Happy Holidays!
Have fun eating pineapple tarts and collecting (or giving out???) Hongbaos..
Receive and give blessings to all your loved ones for the new year~ ^^

Cause of celebration! Yahoo!!! Drink Coke and be as happy as 2PM! ahahaha.. i love 2PM's Coca Cola new ads where they installed a super high vending machine in their company..

To get their drinks 2PM needs to think of strategies to hoist each other up to press on the Dispense button
They did stunts, flips, cheerleading style lifting, used some of their dance choreo.. Just having fun~

On a goodbye note, let's have a cute pic of B1A4 hiding behind pink sofa– their bandname comes from bloodtype of members: 1 'odd one out' is bloodtype B while all the rest is bloodtype A

11/11 is also Pepero Day in S Korea, cos the date represents 5 sticks of Pepero

11/11 is also Poland's Independence Day, a Polish FT Island fan told me this =D

11/11 is also 2PM's Hands Up tour concert in Indonesia, they are comin' Singapore on 19 Nov!! But i no $ buy tickets.... So.... Aye.. Don't talk about it..

11/11 is also FT Island's drummer Minhwan's birthday! Was busy trending MinariDay111111 on Twitter at 12 KST, it just trended in Indo & Japan.. Didn't trend in Singapore or worldwide =x

i posted this photo of Minhwan cos i like the camera, idk what brand/model/how to use it.. it just looks cool.. Woots..
Hope Minari's celebrating his birthday today with Chicken (this dude love chicken lots) & Pepero.. Hehehe..

People say Minhwan resembles Rain (he sure does, as with many other K celebs like Wooyoung, Junho fr 2PM.. They just got that K look with their smiley small, yet attractive eyes..)
Watched a fancam of him dancing to Rainism during one of FT Island's concerts, looking very cool for the most part, but returned back to his aegyo self when he removed his shades -- can tell he spent lots of effort in learning the dance moves, since he hardly ever dances..
He's a drummer afterall~^^

Minari used to look this cute when FTI debut in 2007, at age 15 he held the 'record' for being the youngest Kpop star at that time (for almost a year, till SHINee's Taemin came along)
Now, there's no such record i guess, since talent agencies are rushing to debut young artistes these days..

I love this version's cover photos better! At least the guys look more like the "normal" dashing selves

I like how the prettiest member of SuJu Heechul helms the front of 1 version while the most handsome member Siwon helms the front of another version.

I like Heenim the Heedictator on Twitter who lives in his own 4-dimensional world and is so free-spirited~ Got these 2 pics from Twitter too, Captain Siwon posted them several days ago..

The idea of 'hiding' Shindong at the back in between Donghae & Siwon is good~
Can deflect the attention away from his plump figure, he's been trying to lose weight.... hmm since the SuJu debut? Hehe.. He even admitted that his photos for Mr Simple 1st version has been photoshopped (people were commenting how gd he looked so he just had to say it, kudos to u, honest dude!)

Over the past weekend, the most "in" thing in Kpop world is Super Junior's comeback..

Almost kenna blinded by the supa dupa bright colors on my screen..

Last week (fr Twitter), i see many international fans forgoing sleep so they can watch SuJu's comeback press conference.. 4am also don't want to sleep = power of ELFs (SuJu fans name)
Some people stay up to watch soccer, some people stay up to watch press conference..
Different people have different idols xD

He's back to long hair, i don't quite like the curls but ayyyy nvm..
He's so free spirited & versatile, he may just decide to go change his hairstyle any one day, during Vol 3 - Sorry Sorry days, he loved short hair so much, he kept cutting & trimming his hair till it's super short.. they call it 栗子头

Next up was the horrifying styling of Super Junior's leader Lee Teuk..
Like omg what did they do to him???
That fake fringe with blond highlights is too much.. Makes him look like some fail fashion model..

GD & TOP's new logo / album cover design being revealed..

For a moment i was happy cos i thought there's going to be a new digital single / song that's going to be released.. turns out that it's just, really just a new logo..

Cos the previous bunny logo kinda resembles Playboy's bunny logo, that's why they were "requested" to change... Oh well...

After seeing the new logo, i like it too..

Came back from singing with Ida at Kbox Kallang Leisurepark, it was fun singing some old C-pop songs which i was familiar with since pri & sec sch & juggling a few new C-pop songs
Was planning to sleep early.. But but..

I saw some bad news... Hey! Say! JUMP is now down to 9 members cos 1 member's being suspended indefinitely (meaning may never be able to return)
OMG! Ryutaro Morimoto's the youngest member of HSJ, 16 years old.

Photos of him smoking was published in magazine 2 days ago & his agency decided to suspend all his entertainment activities.. Scenes of him from recent tv recordings were cut & edited by replacing with other members' footage before airing.. Serious suspension.. Omo...

I know Johnny agency value their reputation of their idols & all, so it's really unlikely that Ryu will get to return to him band.. He isn't one of Johnny's favorite anyway.. The favoritism in their company's quite obvious in many other JE boybands too.. 1 or 2 favorite "always in the limelight" members and the rest of the group are just there (for the sake of being there)

Sad case..

This issue reminds me of what happened to Uchi & another guy many years ago (both got kicked out of their boyband NEWS cos they were caught drinking in public -while underaged)
Uchi was downgraded to Johnny Juniors... (didn't debut, still stuck in the junior aka trainee ranks)
I think the other guy gave up on his idol dream & left Johnny Entertainment.. No point staying on ehh.. What are the chances of being selected to be included in a new boyband? Moreover their "old age" would match the young ones..

Been on Happy Island fan forum for the whole day, from late morning to night time..
Happy Island is one of FT Island's fan forum..
But to be exact, they can be called FNC Heaven, since they also include sections for CN Blue. Oh Wonbin & newbie Juniel..

Stumbled upon this drama from 2007 being mentioned in the forum
Unstoppable Marriage
I didnt even know Bassist Jae jin acted before!!
Somemore it's with 2 SNSD girls (before they debut)
Sooyoung & Yuri from SNSD acted as bimbos chasing after the same guy (Jae jin)
It's funnily cheesy & i watched cuts from the drama uploaded & subbed by SNSD fans~

It's a super long korean family drama (more than 100 episodes) but they don't appear in that many ep, and sometimes it's just less than 1 min per episode lol..
So 1st time i watch drama so speedily, can zoom from ep 1 to 101 within a day~ ^_^

The storyline moves pretty slowly (only applies to Jaejin, Sooyoung & Yuri's parts cos that's all i watched) Right from episode 1, they fighting for same guy... till episode 101, they're still trying 101 methods to chase their favourite guy (but to no avail)..

SNSD members acting as zombies hopping around! LMAO..
Notice Yuri's weird running manner... her legs kick sideways instead of kicking backwards... Another scene fr some other episode showed her running, looks even weirder when filmed from the back..

Another funny scene, Sooyoung & Yuri stalking Jaejin on the rooftop in school.. Scary Stalker Girls.. Reminds me of crazy fangirls following idols around xD

Today I don't have to go sch cos my grp completed our assignment yesterday~^^
Spent my day watching Detective Galileo X Movie, after finish watching the last 2 episodes ytd.. This Jap drama is currently airing on Ch U, but i dl it last year, watching fr hard disk is definitely faster than watching from TV..
Also watched Korean variety show 'Idol Maid'
Where 2 female celebrities are selected to go to an idol boyband's dorm to be maids..
Ahhh walao BEAST's dorm really's in a terrible condition..

6 young guys living together, hardly cleaning up.. Clothes strewn all over, cans of half-drank drinks scattered around the house, bedsheets & blankets hardly ever washed, kitchen's the worst warzone with the unwashed dishes, cups stacked high in the sink.... The maid even found a soaked fried chicken dumped among the unwashed plates.. Eeeks! Expired food found in their refrigerator too.. OMG..
Quoting the pretty maid: "Seems like it's (the situation) is beyond serious"

See from 2:58 onwards

As usual, no luxurious living space for this 'glamorous' idols, i've seen variety shows that films idol groups' dorms.. FT Island, 4 Minute.... Most of them live in rather cramped apartments.. Some idols share beds, sleep in the living room, some even sleep on the floor..
Make me feel so blessed to have my own room & own bed..

There's 9 episodes in all, don't think i'll ever finish watching them, so i post the links to it here.. just in case i decided to watch more on one fine day~

MY Music update time!

24 May marks the return of FT Island!

To Korean pop scene..

Just a short while after releasing their full-length Japanese album "Five treasure Island"
Five Treasure Island = FT Island (yes thats how their name came about)
Was still comtemplating whether to buy it and there the Korean mini album is out.. Seriously busy Five treasures.. Promoting in Japan & Korea within short timeframe..

Wasn't too impressed with their recent Japanese singles.. Brand New Days & So Today were so generic.. I don't have the urge to keep them on replay..

Their musical styles are diff from their more emo rock Korean singles/albums.. Perhaps to suit the mainstream pop-rock market in Japan..

Plenty of fluffy-sweet pop-rock music already.. What FT Island is famous for is their classic emo-punk-rock songs.. Though they sound too depressing for these young guys, the vocalist's voice is well-suited to sing those songs.. This is the edge they've over other bands, which should be largely capitalised on.. Since their junior band CN Blue is catching up in terms of popularity stakes..

I love both bands FTI & CNB, but in terms of vocal prowess, FTI's solo vocalist Hongki beats both of CNB's vocalists Yonghwa & Jonghyun.. As much as i love Jonghyun's soothing calm, heart-melting voice, Hongki's husky, raspy low emotive voice evokes more feelings.. Even though i don't understand what he's singing most of the time (either Japanese / Korean / Kor-lish aka Korean english) i can feel for the song..

Many korean bands are heading to Japan.. Not that i mind, but their style are kinda "forced" to be changed to cater to the needs of Japanese market..

I didn't like FT Island's change...

But i applaud DGNA's change..

Didn't know J-pop suits them so much!

They're known as Dae Guk Nam Ah in Korea & Daikoku Danji in Japan..

Their name kinda imitates DBSK.. Formed by 4 characters (readable in Chinese)

Have long korean names & even longer Japanese names..

Since their debut in Korea, i knew this band has 3 members with distinctive voices..

-Mika's high pitched, airy (sometimes breathless) kind of singing voice suits soft ballads (and his voice resembles Jaejoong's)

-Karam's high pitched, cheery voice makes him suitable for the role of lead vocalist since he can handle most songs well (and he looks like a cuter, chubbier version of Jaejoong!)

-Hyunmin's husky voice is rare & belies his pretty face..

Why i love this new band~

It's not just their band name resembles DBSK, but 2 members~ 1 Jae's face 1 Jae's voice.. If only 1 member has hot bod that resembles Jaejoong.. Lols.. Not easy to find actually, cos Jae's got the perfect package~ face, body, voice, fashion sense, personality xD

DGNA's title track "Love Power" is so kawaii!!!

Fluffy candy floss sweet J-pop is so their type..

Wish them success in breaking Japanese market..

Infinite has been around for a while, but i hadn't paid attention to them previously..
Too many boybands & girl groups out there these days it's hard to stand out..

UNLESS you've
-band members who look like some other famous guy (like DGNA)
-gd-looking member who happen to be from another country (like 2PM's 'thai prince' Nichkhun)
-a funny member who can carve a name for himself on variety shows (like 2AM's Jo Kwon)
-a daringly zany member who can dance all the girl groups' dances on variety shows (like ZE:A's Kwanghee)
-a member who's really good at dancing a different genre, eg modern contemporary dance & perform them occasionally at dance battles (like MBLAQ's Lee Joon)
-members who have famous celebrity daddy (like F.Cuz's Lee U)
-some suggestive dance moves that gets banned on music programs (like rookie girl grp Rania)

Seems that Infinite have none of the above, so they've to rely on strong title tracks..
They succeeded with prev mini album "Before the Dawn" then this "Inspirit" I like how they combine Infinite + Spirit = Inspirit.. Indeed Inspiring~

I know nothing about this indie Korean group..

Conclusion: I just like the cover design.. Songs aren't outstanding enough to prompt me to do a search on more songs or find out who're the members.

Miss A's record-breaking debut last year was extraordinary..

Bad Girl Good Girl is a big hit.. I wished JYP ent could come up with strong follow-ups though..

This is a English digital single, i like the album art more than i like the song itself aha..

A simple graceful silhouette..

One thing to note that Miss A's english pronounciation is quite good~ (Y)

So rare occurrence eh?
(yeah, given the fact that i'd given up on listening to C-pop years ago)

This Taiwanese girl group (ahhh yes, you didnt see wrongly ALL 5 OF THEM ARE GIRLS)

Androgynous girls are "in" right now~ =)

The leader Jin Tai was from Chao Ji Xin Guang Da Dao (forgot the eng name =x) so we know this band will churn out pretty decent songs.. Having at least 1 member who can sing is the most impt requirement..

If pay attention to Taiwanese street fashion, there's this brand called Mr Rich..

I see them featured in COOL magazine before, one of the members owned the line or is the original staff.. Many staff members-cum models for the brand are androgynous girls..

Their debut breaks the mould & stereotype of feminine girl groups, whose girls are restricted by short tight dresses, skirts or shorts & super high heels..

I think that's how it attracts attention even from people who hardly paid attention to Chinese songs..

I dl-ed the album & music video from K-pop & Asian pop fan sharing sites / communities..

Pretty boys who look like girls are already a common sight in the idol world

Yu Shirota can sing!

I've only known him as a super handsome actor.. He's a Japanese-Spanish hunk who acted in several idol dramas like Hana-Kimi (as lead actor Shun Oguri's high jump rival), baseball drama Rookies..

He's super tall & with those dashing looks, gives off the "I'm a model" vibe more than an actor's vibe.. Needless to mention, never thought he could sing..

Sorry Yu, i underestimated you..

One shouldn't judge by looks..

He sang a Spanish song, so that's the first Spanish song that i've listened to~ Sounds vaguely similar to Italian, I thought i heard some Italian words in there..

OMG!

He totally suits the Visual-Kei image, even though it hadn't crossed my mind prior to this..

I classified him as a pretty boy Korean actor who's gd at acting (he was a child actor, many years of experience to boot, we expect no less.. hehe)

All-rounded entertainer..

The MV "Let Me Cry" is fantastic~ Showcase the Jap rocker side of his voice, deep emotive J-rock style, higher-pitch haunting vocals........... Ahhhh.. Perfectto!

If u're free pls watch the MV for Let Me Cry, hard to find on Youtube though cos they take down Japanese music videos pretty fast.. If u don't know what's Visual Kei style means just google "Alice 9", "The GaZette", "An-cafe", "LMC", "Nightmare", "SID"....

Normal people will get the shock of their lives if they were to stumble upon a Visual Kei magazine like Cure or Shoxx unknowingly xD

The stuff that those guys wear & put on their faces...

My Pixel Collage module's first exercise!

My fave piece of work~ ^_^

Cos it features one of my fav k-pop idol G-Dragon!

The module (for the past month) was about digital collage, a little bit of cut & paste effect is fine, as long as the separate images look well-blend together, forming a single image.. And so i thought, a face would be easy, just input diff facial expressions..
There's 9 separate images used in this collage.. Can u tell?
Teacher said use at most 3 or 4 images if not there's too much going on & lose focus..
I've no idea why i was so hardworking & challenged myself by putting together 9 images & blending them into 1~

I deliberately chose pictures from the same 'Shine a light' concert/dvd photoshoot so the pictures look consistent.. Since G-Dragon is a well-known fashionista & is so 百变 with diff styling, dressing, expressions he'll exude diff aura.. Mysterious. Cool. Cute. Crazy. Funky. Quirky. Outright outrageous style. He's those few people who can pull off seriously weird & awkward styles.. Born Versatile..

Another exercise is halftone, silhouette & vector..

The reddish part is the halftone effect.. I put vector headphones on the head of Jaejoong (my beloved member of DBSK-JYJ)

I put in silhouettes of leggy beauties (Orange Caramel members)

And had water textures as background..

There again, i fulfilled 3 requirements of the exercise while incorporating my fav K-pop idols (aha yeah i don't think i'll ever grow bored of talented & gd-looking K-pop idols, they give me inspiration & motivation to continue working on)

In case you couldn't tell, this was last min work..
I was losing inspiration in doing pixel collage, largely due to the uninspiring teacher who didn't teach (what an irony!)
His "style" of teaching is emailing us several links to online photoshop tutorials.. Well, we can easily search for them if we wanted to..
The very reason why we're enrolled in school is to learn first-hand from the "experienced experts"
But it seems that many polytechnic lecturers are established/brilliant designers in their own right, but fail as design teachers.. Shouldn't poly lecturers attend courses by MOE/NIE so they can learn effective teaching methods?

This is the nth time i've met poly teachers who can't teach.. Like omg.. In design sch block system, all modules are taught in 4 weeks, and what are we, students supposed to learn from teachers who fail at teaching within a space of 4 weeks?

In the end, it's up to ourselves..
Why are we paying school fees then?

Ooh la la la here's too much dust accumulated after 2 months of inactivity..
I need to devote more time to blogger.. I've spent most of my time over at Livejournal..
I even have more than 1 acct over there since there's a large amount of communities that cater to my interest & i like how the communities function. I just subscribe to my fav communities and their new posts automatically comes up in my Friends page =p
I have separate accts for J-pop & K-pop fandoms.. Teehee cos i want to keep updated on my fandoms..

Last month i'd 4 weeks of holidays.. So this month marks the start of new semester and i'm officially a Junior!!! Ooh la la no longer a freshie... Eeeee... Seeing clueless freshies in school~ Lol they have problems navigating in school & finding classrooms (the classroom numbers are printed in small fonts on each door)... One has to stand in front of the door to see which classroom is that.. No signboards indicating where is what room.. Ironically great design in design school..

This block it's Studio Lighting.. So all the work has to be done in the photo studio... We remain shrouded in the darkness while the subject/product we're shooting in under the shine of flashlights.. The studio lights & equipment are bulky & expensive, so they stay locked up in cabinets.. We don't/can't bring them home anyway..

It's a good camwhoring opportunity, while we arrange the lighting.. Diff methods..
1 light's options:
-Open bulb (nothing in front of the bulb)
-Soft box (diffuse the light with a squarish box-like cover)
-Barn door (foldable gates to concentrate light into central line)
-Umbrellas (white & silver umbrellas to be put in front of the light to reflect and give it more even spread)

Maybe i'll post some related photos once we've done selecting~ ^_^
I brought my kawaii cute pink dog (soft toy doggie)

2nd week of 2D Art Fundamentals.. Several A3 paintings to work on..
I still don't like wet media, i don't know how to paint (in an awesome manner), so there's nothing special about my art works.. Ahhhh sian...
I think i'm more suited to do abstract paintings.. Suits someone who don't like and can't paint properly (Y)
Today's class is dry media.. Pastels and oil pastels.. Like!
However they have to be sprayed with layers of fixative (can my lungs filter out the fixative gases that i breathe in in a day?) if not the colour will run & ruin everything (whole art work + other things that come into contact with it --fingers, white tshirt, folder, papers)
Thats the only downside, but i like the "hands-on feel" --literally.. using fingers to blend the pastel powder together..

Huge earthquake in Japan earlier on today.. 8.9 leh no kidding, damn serious... The tsunami aftermath flooded many places.. Telecommunications & flights affected..

Twitterverse is filled with messages of concern~ My twitter is for me to follow mostly celebrities.. (others are fanclubs) and many Japanese & Korean celebs are tweeting about it..
Yuu Shirota, Utada Hikaru, Ayumi, Ayaka, Sugizo, Yoshiki, Ryuichi.... They re-tweeted impt info messages for Japanese fans as well as reporting their own safety to international fans who're worrying..
#prayforjapan is likely to trend.. Taec, BoA, Kahi, Brian Joo, Kibum tweeted that..
Actually not just pray for Japan, also other territories that are affected by the aftershocks & tsunamis..

Let's pray for those affected.. The weather in Japan's still cold & hope the people can stay warm in shelters..
At the same time, feel blessed that Singapore's not in earthquake zone & very much protected by our neighbours Indonesia & Malaysia, so tsunamis have super slim chance of hitting our shores & flooding our small little island..

I have a feeling if i don't update, readers may think my blog's dead..
Yeah.. it's been EXACTLY a month since i last updated..

The previous block had 2 modules that kept me busy throughout, one of it is taught by this Crazie Witch who kept the whole class on tiptoes as her mood swings as fast as the Viking ship.. Friendliness, sympathy, empathy & ability to listen to others doesn't run in her blood.. Maybe this personality suits her well in the corporate marketing world.. Highly competitive dog-eat-dog world, but in a school setting? Sticking out like a sore thumb, why on earth is she even a teacher? I don't need tender loving care from teachers but... Where's the useful guidance? And what's with that habit of tekaning students she doesn't like? (a friend who was taught by her for another module told me days ago that she was frequently tekan by her during class, she used the word 'tekan' & i think it befits what Witch does best) It's freaking hard to survive unless u know everything she's gg to ask..
Being in relatively good schools for the most part of my life, i hardly meet crappy teachers who make me wanna swear at them.. I tried my best to tolerate and respect someone whom i don't think deserve my respect.. yeah i did tolerate (turned, mouthed F word and walked away, i know i cannot turn back even though she called me back to start some random scolding, cos i know i'm gg to swear in her face)
Nuff of grievances for now.. The module has ended and i don't wanna see her face ever again..

Moving on to the new block, it's 2D Art, lots of painting (wet media) and some dry media..
I seriously dislike painting..
Love dry media like pencil, pen, markers, pastels much more~
So this last block of the semester isn't gg to be that smooth-sailing for me.. work's starting to accumulate, but i don't feel motivate to do much..

While eating lunch i watched a movie (or rather part of a movie as some parts were removed on YouTube) --71 Into the Fire.. It's a great war movie, based on a true story in 1950 where 71 young student soldiers fought courageously & held North Korean troops at bay for 11 hours before backup troops (aka real soldiers) are sent to help them.. Some critics said these students were used as human shields, most of them were sacrificed in the process.. Half a day of war with enemy soldiers, no kidding sia.. (if it were Singaporean students, i think less than 1h will raise white flag to surrender) These supposed "human shields" certainly fought with bravery~
Epic awesome.. should be watched on a big cinema screen.. not on small laptop screen & definitely not to be watched while eating..
I don't care though, scenes doesn't look that violent since the whole movie's color scheme is grey-ish, with blue & yellow tones..

Now i have another movie on my must-watch list....
I haven't completed/started watching some popular Jap & Kor dramas!!
Should list them down and watch as much as i can after this 2D Art module ends
-Sungkyunkwan Scandal (i was halfway through~ forgot stopped at which ep)
-Dream High (i want to watch for Taecyeon & Wooyoung, reviewers said they acted well)
-Q10 robot girl entering school as exchange student (sounds like an interesting Jap drama)
-Mr Brain (Takuya (aka the Gatsby guy) as neuroscientist helping police to solve weird cases... i only watched random episodes of this... i love how interesting Japanese scriptwriters can create such interesting characters, storyline and criminal intent)
-Tumbling (team of rhythmic gymnasts --formed by guys.. a rarity/oddity hehe.. i'd all episodes with chinese subs in my HD, just havent found time to watch)

Wanna rewatch Korean movie Antique Bakery~ i first watched it for Kim Jae Wook (aka Waffle guy in Coffee Prince), now i'm gg to watch for Yoo Ah In (aka the dashingly dangerous scholar in SKK Scandal).. he was relatively unknown when he acted in Antique Bakery.. SKK Scandal offered him a strong breakthrough role~^^
Antique Bakery's quite an unique movie (totally caught me by surprise when i first watched it, since the synopsis i saw prior to watching offered nothing more than the cast's names) given how S Korea's conservative media culture, they love to censor this and that..
How come a gay themed movie can be produced? Hehe.. It's a nice adaptation from a manga though.. I hope there's sequels~

It's the Year of the Rabbit aka Bunny

Oh yeah It's Cute Bunny Time, but i have read those predictions of luck/fortune of Rabbits, it's usually not good in their 本命年.. Aye, shouldnt believe in those, i never did, though i never fail to go kaypoh & read the writings posted in different areas. Last year i remember reading those posted in Bugis area while i was walking back after school at NAFA. This year i just read those at Loyang tua pek gong Temple..
The decorations in the temple seems to emulate those at River Hongbao. Those larger than life creations of 12 zodiac animals in bright cheery colours.

Lunar New Year is also the time whereby people face an uphill battle with calories and high cholesterol.
Bak Kwa, Pineapple tarts, All sorts of nuts & crackers & deep fried/baked goodies..
So i put "stay slim~" in my msn nick.. idk if it helps in making me stay slim..
It's just psychological perhaps~~^^

As usual, breaking records with mass orders flooding in from all over the world, such that the company had to delay date of release..
They are a real money-spinner.. SM Ent must be still aching in regret over their departure, so jealous that they blocked JYJ's activities in South Korea & Japan. To deal with this, JYJ went international with their album releases & performance.. That's what brought them in Singapore late last year too.

So thank u SM Ent, for indirectly creating the chance where i could see JYJ perform live~^^

Of course i pre-ordered this~ Lalala~

What's up with my neighbours?
Or rather ex-neighbours??

If u read my blog frequently, u may remember i posted about my next door neighbour moving out w/o my family knowing.. That big family -chinese couple with 6 kids..
I lamented about how distant people are these days even though we live so close to each other in this packed urban environment.. Talked about the irony of people..

Turned out that that family moved out in a haste, to avoid loansharks..
Just after they sold the house, kenna first loanshark "throw-paint" attack~

After renovations, the young couple moved in.. Peace for months..
Until yesterday.. kenna loanshark attack again..
Not sure if it's the same loanshark (maybe the former owner continued to borrow fr loansharks using the same IC.. ) This time the loanshark runner threw paint all over their windows & doors & corridor, used metal chains to lock their door. (Neighbour who got harassed installed CCTV, saw fr there how the runner worked --came to their unit a total of 3 times --1) Look see Look see 2) Lock their door 3) throw paint)
As he stood at another neighbour's door to throw paint, some of the paint ended up on the door & corridor of another neighbour. Innocent neighbour also kenna. Walao eh..

The next morning i see this pasted on the lift door of my level.. And at ground level..

It's more for saving their face/reputation..
As other neighbours may gossip about them..
Anyway, those loanshark runners aren't that "highly-educated", will they even bother to read such a lengthy essay? I bet they wouldn't understand the meaning of some words too.. Aha..

Holla... It's been more than 2 weeks.. My bday celebration post's belated!~
Dinner at Waraku with the girls, took some polaroid shots with XZ's camera~^^

I brought the polaroids back to "jia1 gong1" add in some captions both on the front & back~

Taking polaroids can be a tiring affair as most of us are not used to taking photos by looking through the viewfinder, all accustomed to the foolproof digital camera's big screens..
The funniest one is XZ.. She took a long time to 'finalise' her framing thru the viewfinder..
Said "1......, 2.......... (pauses), 3....................."
We grinned till our jaws are sore.. but XZ hasn't taken a photo (o.0)

But the food there is hmmmm,,, the prices are expensive, but food are of average standard unfortunately...
Service standard is Aye... Shakes head..
Slightly better than Marina Sq's Cafe Cartel, but thats nothing to be proud of since Cafe Cartel is notorious for their "freaking awesome" service.

The limited edt of Elva's latest album that i saw comes with a free MAC eyeliner.. It's quite a steal isnt it? $20+ bucks for an album, MAC eyeliner costs ard $20 also? Can just buy for the eyeliner & throw/sell away the album lol..

The repackage edition of 'Miss Elva' (her album name) made me do a double take as i saw the Warning notice that says 'Some Homosexual Content'
Lol.. The Taiwanese music market's getting more 'open' these days?

Don't ask me what those 2 albums contain that gives them those notices & classifications, cos i only saw the packaging, didnt buy or dl. Teehee.. if u happen to know, tell me leh~~

DBSK released a new song, for Athena OST.. Athena's the highly rated sequel to the highly successful K drama IRIS.
Hearing only 2 members (Yunho & Changmin who remained with SM Ent) singing the song released under the name 'DBSK/TVXQ' makes me feel queasy all over.. So weirdddddddd..

On a recent trip, i saw a series of Japanese magazines with DBSK on the covers..
Japanese fans are missing these Korean guys a lot & magazine publishers wanna milk the popularity of the group though all 5 were last active more than 1 & half years ago..
They either use old group photos or photoshop individual shots of the members and arrange them togt..

I love the Filmgarde cinema upstairs, not for the movie-watching experience..but for the decorations outside the cinema.. Imma havent been gg into theatres for quite awhile..

Can't believe i missed the postman thrice!
My Christmas present for myself arrived in my mail on wednesday!
The poster tube came earlier and the postman (woman actually.. hehe an auntie riding a bicycle)
knocked on my house on mon & tue..

1) Monday, i skipped sch to go photoshoot.. Just nice postman auntie came at 2+ when i left house at 2pm..
2) Tuesday, being a gd girl, i went to school the whole day~
Missed the 2nd time she came knocking..
3) Wednesday, i skipped school again.. Not exactly pon since there's no Illust class & Photog class it's just consultation. So i'm home the whole day~
Postman came knocking when i was showering.. This time not to deliver my poster tube but to deliver a registered article meant for my dad..

I was about to go downstairs to check on mailbox when i saw a piece of paper lying on the floor at the door when i opened it.. (o.0) She was here an hour ago! Sian missed it..
Went downstairs and surprisingly saw her there, immed rushed upstairs to take that paper..
Turned out that she returned the registered article back to post office when the person collecting came.. (o.0)

She's quite a nice lady, passed me the package (that i've been WAITING for) from the back of the mailboxes.. She rmb my address alr.. Wahaha..
And mentioned that she went to my house twice to deliver another package..
That's how i came to know, how much effort it takes for a postman to deliver a package/article..

I was like Wow! 6 members as pilots?? Ooooo... Nice..

There's usually 2-3 pilots on a plane, but we gals wouldn't mind if theres 6 cool guys as pilots on our plane..

It makes the plane ride more exciting hur.. Lol..

In summary, i like their new concept.. Shall await the album release..

Their popularity just pale in comparison with their brother-brother band 2PM..

Yeah that's really their group name when the 2 groups perform/appear togt..

Another big parcel to arrive is Big Bang Official Calendar 2011..

There's 3 versions: i bought the Wall Calendar, the one below's a Desktop Calendar & ver C's a monthly planner/journal...

Time flies~ It just seems so yesterday that i bought the Big Bang Official Wall Calendar 2010..

It comes in 13 different huge posters.. Just right for my wall, but kinda troublesome to change every month since the calendar consists of 13 individual posters.. The additional one is for the entire year~

Anticipate what this year's calendar will be like^^

FT Time 2011

Just ordered this yesterday, FT Island's 2011 calendar & monthly planner set.. Postcards and stickers are also thrown in the package.. The box is in yellow!! FTI's colour =p

It's gg to be released on 20 Dec i think, would only reach me next year i guess~

Raah.. In summary, Cloud spent quite a lot this xmas season.. for her own Xmas presents..

Mnet Asian Music Awards

I love MAMA aka Mnet Asian Music Awards.. hehe i always thought the abbreviation sounds funny..
But it's funny in a gd way.. Mama gives it a "homely" feel~
It's organised by Korean's Mnet, so understandably most of the artistes are Korean..There's Chinese & Japanese artistes, but seems quite "不红" cos i havent heard of them b4 =p
So it's really weird to call themselves Asian music awards..

"Asian Music" emcompasses so many countries & languages~
Korean, Chinese (China, Taiwan, HK), Japanese, Filipinos, Vietnamese, Malaysian, Indonesian, Indian, Cambodian, Thai... And of course, Singaporean..
SO many outstanding musicians that i couldnt listen to them all in my lifetime..

Gosh!! 2PM won 3 awards!!!

They're a fantastic boyband but i didnt expect them to win So many~~
Cameramen loves Nichkhun a lot, keep zooming in to his nice face.. Hehehe.. Taecyeon & Chansung are as awesome as always yays!!!

Hmm maybe cos SM Ent's artistes were absent from the event?
I rmb last year SM Ent boycotted the MAMA awards as the organisers let Jaejoong, Yoochun & Junsu attend and collect awards on behalf of DBSK. They were in the midst of lawsuit & arent supposed to participate in anything aka "appear in public". That shucks..

I saw JYP Ent's 2PM in a super prominent VIP seats beside YG Ent's 2NE1.. And MAMA let YGE's biggest band Big Bang (pun unintended =p) perform 6 songs continuously.. Even though it's just 3 members, they totally rocked the stage as each of them exude different charms & charisma~

Hence it doesnt matter much when SHINee, SuJu, Snsd arent around..
Having 2PM, Big Bang & Miss A, Wonder Girls is awesome alr..

I enjoyed specially staged live perfs, diff from usual mvs, music shows..
2PM's sad, lonely mime setting is interesting, but the prelude took quite long & pple who dunno 2PM wouldnt be interested to wait & watch them..

Miss A's a powerful rookie girl grp, I guessed their 'Bad Girl Good Girl' would win Song of the Year and they did! Just sang that song in ktv ytd =)
It's a great debut song for the group!

2NE1 got 2 big awards. Artiste of the Year as well as Album of the Year..
I used to like this fierce hiphop girl grp, but i grew sick of them..
Practically ignored their latest album release 'Cant Anybody', just didnt listen to a single song, neither did i watch their music video & live perf..
Should i give that album a listen when i'm free?

But then since when am i free?
Having 2 modules (again) in this block is time-consuming.. I have been focusing on Photography, Applied Illustration's neglected le~
1st time experimentation with a DSLR, meddling ard with the manual modes: ISO, aperture, shutter speed..

Went for photoshoot in Clarke Quay last thur..
Took a short walk b4 & after my dance session in Chinatown to take pictures.. That area's more interesting cos of all that heritage & cultural elements..
Ahhh, i dun think i've fantastic photos to show, but eh... 40% of the module's marks eh.. Make or break~

A short breather~
End of 1st block of sem 1.2, non-stop classes fr 9am-3pm... Now: rest a lil (yes, just 2 days) b4 starting next block.

Took a random walk ard city area..

Walked from Victoria Street area and ended my walk at Promenade Mrt station.. Idk how many km i've walked heehee..

-Saw some random people whom i know/recognise, but in some way i dunno them, cos i didnt feel the urge to go up to them to say Hi or anything.

-Walked by Citylink, enjoyed the aroma from the Popcorn shop, it's crowded with people.. Novelty of a American popcorn shop in Singapore?
It smells so good, those caramelised corn looked so gd..

-Walked by Marina Square.. New Korean cosmetics shop Tony Moly's in Singapore!

Just did a random search on yahoo & found this fr Elle korea's photoshoot (what's with the shoe on top of head, secured by tying shoelaces on his hoodie??? lols, but i find it interesting enough to save this =p )

It's like a blend of classic idol dramas: Boys Over Flowers/Meteor Garden + Hana Kimi
It upps the 2 by placing the characters back in Chosun era..
Idol drama becomes period drama.. Heard that there's many auntie fans of the drama in SKorea..
I watched many episodes during e hols, but didnt have time to continue after sch term started =x

Just had Japanese test today (yes, yet again).. It's listening test.. MCQs yeah!
The prev Lang & Culture test's easy.. But i didnt score as well as i wished i did... Cos i gave away some marks.. idk why.. Eyes not entirely open that morning since i slept at 4AM..

Q) Which of the following is not a world heritage site?
Why on earth didn't i see 'Mount Fuji' as one of the choices????
--such a Duh! Questn, how can a mountain be a "heritage site" it's definitely the answer!!!
But i got that wrong *face palm*

1st block again

Time flies.. yet again.. lost track of time~
Thought this is just the 2nd week of school, although it's already the 3rd week..
Hence explaining my absence here (cloud's online nest) for the past week or so..

Past Sunday: A series of unfortunate events

After proj meeting for my Jap class, wanted to go home to complete my assignments due the next day..
1) Walked to the mrt station, heard the announcement "The train towards Pasir Ris will be delayed for 2o min due to a train fault" (-.-'')
--wth.. i wanna go home!

2) Took the first bus i saw at the bus stop nearby, planning to switch buses later..

3) Started raining (o.O)

4) Alighted at a random bus stop in Tampines.. Rain's drizzling in cos of the wind..
Hugged my bag tightly as i dun want my laptop to get wet (I still dun've a laptop bag for my fat 15 inch LG baby though baby's already 1 and half years old =p )

5) Phone call fr Dad.. Asking what i wanted for dinner as he was tapao-ing..
Just then, i saw the bus i wanted to take come by, couldnt pick myself up in time to run & flag it.. waited so longgggg... for the next one..

And this afternoon, my Jaejoong made me jaw drop with his tweet in Chinese.. I stared at my laptop screen for a gd 10 sec while sitting at my fav corner in the classroom (^o^)

Isn't that Jae's new tweet?? Why is it that i can read it?
His tweets are usually in Korean or Japanese (he uses Romanji, not Hiragana)

At the Fail Chinese provided by those online translation websites, they arent reliable.. cos many a times, their translations need to be translated b4 we can understand..

When i first discovered online translator websites, i was REALLY excited~
I thought i uncovered some hidden gem..
Until i put English sentences & clicked translate to Chinese, turned out REALLY horrible.. waha.. they offer only word-for-word translations, grammar's all screwed up & sometimes they chose the wrong word to replace..
Simply destroys the meaning of the sentence/phrase..

Thanks Jaejae for caring for foreign fans, he proceeded to tweet in Thai & Spanish.. For a moment i thought he was gg to continue using the online translator service to generate more versions..
IT'S A FACT THAT DBSK IS WORLD-FAMOUS after all.. There's fans everywhere (US & Europe -fans in Germany, Portugal are getting desperate since their chances of seeing DBSK are so low)

Japanese CDS

New semester, new block.. First lecture in the academic year.. Cos of CDS --cross-disciplinary subject in this block~
I got my #1 choice: Japanese Language & Culture..
It's just basic conversational Japanese.. Used to be really popular when the J-wave's blowing strong across Singapore & people're dying to learn Japanese.. these days, it's just the K-wave.

My teacher's a lil depressed cos half of the students in her prev class said they chose Jap, cos school didnt offer Korean Language, so the next best thing is Japanese..
Japan & Korea are East Asia neighbours after all.. No K then make do with J..
That hurts..

She said she watches Korean dramas & listens to korean songs these days, hardly watches Japanese dramas.. Ending her contradicting statement with "Ok, that's how lame your japanese teacher is"

Some classmates who chose this module in a hope that they can watch anime w/o subs were disapppointed as teacher told us what was covered in this syllabus wouldnt be enough for us to understand anime.. Furthermore, the language used in anime/manga is different from the polite jap speech that we're learning.

For the first lesson/lecture, lecture & tutorial's kinda combined.. so strictly speaking it's still like a tutorial hehe..
I opened my pencil case & took out a pink pen. Eh-oh i found no blue pen in there.
I dunno why but i brought 5 pink pens-markers in different shades of pink xD
There's other colours too --purple, green....., just not proper blue/black pen~

1st lesson learnt how to count 1-99..
2nd lesson learnt simple greetings.. school, nationality...

(it's a pity i was too farrr away, cant see this, so i'm watching this gif to cure my sadness)

After concert: the gripes and all..
Spent my day watching HD fancams & read comments by pple on Korean Music Night's Facebook..
Type in 'meizhen85' in youtube, this girl records great fancams.. She's pretty supportive of Korean & Japanese acts when they perform in Singapore (FT Island's showcase, Sundown Festival, SHINee at ePop, GNA's fansign...)
i like Not so shaky & super clear fancams by her (she always finds herself a good standing space? lol)

Thats how i know how some inconsiderate fans sat on one another's shoulders to get a better view of their idols & effectively blocking out the view of all the fans behind..
--- Thank u for showing Korean stars the ugly side of Singaporeans... sibeh kiasu... Normal fans just climb on chairs to see, some people just go a notch higher (literally!)

Thats the downside of having concerts in Singapore Expo, since the most of the seats are makeshift... Someone can just take the chairs away when u aren't around~
These stolen chairs often end up on the passageway, where crowds of people had alrdy gathered as they couldnt see anything fr their seats, so sibeh kiasu fans want to go a notch higher.. Go grab someone else's chair, choose an excellent spot to plant themselves & stood up high in the passageway to watch..

-BIG PROBLEM: Category B seats cost $218 & it's not even elevated..
They should seriously consider elevating the seats cos the view sucks when everybody stands up.. I'm kinda lucky cos i'm tall, but i still need to tiptoe on my shaky chair..
YES, IT'S LIKE WEARING 3 INCH HIGH HEELS (WITHOUT THE HEELS).. Legs damn sore~
I've to keep doing that so that i can see my idols better, i dun pay fcking huge amt to come see only their heads bobbling up & down just above the crowd..

-I was quite pissed off at the number of fans video-ing..
I'm alright with taking photos, cos that wouldnt take long.
BUT IF they were to record the whole perf, they've to lift their arms up high for at least 4 minutes.. Blocking those behind for a good 4 minutes (Fans behind can only see ur camera & missed the performance onstage, thank u very much)
Furthermore we're nowhere near the stage, u'll need to zoom 10 times, quality sure sux eh.. so why bother???
Imma so annoyed by those inconsiderate wannabe videographers..
We love our idols so much after watching countless videos online SO, we bought tickets to watch our idols perform live, now.... they're finally here in front of us.... all u want to do is video-cam??
Instead of enjoying the live atmosphere?!?????

I watched much of SNSD's performance on the fella (he flew in fr Indonesia i think) standing in front of me's camcorder's screen since he decided to film the entire SNSD's perf & i decided to take a break from tip-toeing to reserve energy for finale performing group --the most Da4 Pai2 in the 7 bands lineup~
Fortunately that Indo guy isn't a 1.8m tall dude, if not i couldn't even see SNSD's sailor hats blobbing above the crowd of hands+cameras+sabre lightsticks.. lols..
Tip-toeing on shaky chair requires an exceptional amount of energy & sense of balance ---What an achievement!!

Cos i couldnt catch much of hyperactive G-Dragon, he's such a born performer, he ruled the stage ~~like~~ it's his kingdom & roamed freely..

I've problems finding him using my binoculars, now he's on right side of stage, next moment he pops up on the left side..

Cool shades he had on.. Very much prefer to see him w/o them though~ that covered half of his small face..
He only took off his shades briefly during the song Last Farewell (i saw fr fancams... )

I think it's because fans in the moshpit asked him to do so..
Finally got to see his smiley eyes, so nice, even if it's only for XX seconds.. i replayed the part of the video for more..

G-Dragon's drenched in perspiration aft a hyper 7 songs perf.. Ever so fashionista, he just used his scarf & draped over his head when he came onstage again with other bands in the finale.. Instead of using a towel (bandmate TOP was holding one), he always does things differently hehe..

Big Bang lives up to their name as BIG BANG!
Absolutely amazing 'live' performance!
As the finale, the sound system's gd/better alrdy.. Even though i can't really see my dear G-Dragon (tip-toeing while standing on a shaky chair), could see more of TOP though..
TOP's so dashingly handsome.. The way he danced & rapped is just so COOL!!! Stylo-milo~
GD & Taeyang's cool behind shades, but i would very much prefer to see their eyes~
Gara gara Go, Lies, Haru Haru (Acoustic ver) & Hands Up were rocking good!
There's a song called No.1 & another song that i've neither heard nor know the title.. It's freaking awesome too!!!
It would be a perfect end to the night if they sang 'Beautiful Hangover' too^^

BUT, Hongki's microphone produced no sound the moment he started singing.. wth.. disappointed.. Sounds freaking weird, a band playing, but cant hear vocalist's voice, can hear the guitarist-cum-rapper Seunghyun pretty well though..
It's Kpop night, wonder why FTI performed japanese song Flower Rock.. It's a HIGH song, great for jamming 'live'... but i was expecting some of their older Korean hits.. Those that i absolutely love are FT vs PRI, Bad Woman, Love is, After Love, Girls don't know, Saranghajimayo....

Waved the flag throughout their performance, so happy to see other yellow FTI flags being waved around my seating area^^
My arm's sore.. I love that feeling though.. Hehe..

SHINee's not shining without Bling bling Jonghyun's presence.
Nooooooo, it cant be true.... my fav SHINee member's not there..
Kudos to Taemin for taking over some of Jonghyun's singing parts (those hard to reach notes) even though his voice isnt as powerful as Jong's.. I'm glad that he's doing fine cos he hardly sings solo parts in SHINee's songs.. He's the pro dancing maknae^^
The same cant be said of rapper Minho.. Heard 'awkward silence' (there's supposed to be singing), then i saw Minho lifting his arm & sang half a line into his mike halfheartedly.. Dunno what he singing also lor.. I think he forgot he's taking over Jong on that line..
There's awkward silences on other instances, i dunno who's mistake neh, didnt manage to spot anymore from my far faraway seat..

They sounded cutesy.. If u think their CD recordings sounded cute, in 'live' it's a notch or 2 higher..
I heard comments like "SNSD very act cute" as i walked past some concert-goers..
But many guys like ---omg seriously i didnt know SNSD has soooo many fanboys in SG, waving huge bright pink lightsticks with silver handles (reminds me of Star Wars light sabre can?? xD) all around..
Pink lightsticks outshines the other coloured lightsticks cos they win by sheer size & numbers in the expo hall..
I can't help but laugh when i see guys wearing SNSD tshirts.. Pink pink hot pink~

JYJ WORLDWIDE ALBUM SHOWCASE --THE BEGINNING.... IN SINGAPORE!

First time they're performing together in S'pore^^
It's only a short showcase, seriously not enough!!!
Can't get enough of them.. Never felt 1 hour passed so fast neh~
Many SG Cassiopeias went though we aren't familiar with their new international album's songs YET..
I just dl-ed album 3 days ago, kept replaying them so that i'll be familiar with the tunes b4 i hear & see them 'live'... All their songs are in English, but i dun really understand since i hadn't see the lyrics..

My FAV double Js (Jaejoong & Junsu) dunno English, so i dun expect myself to understand what they're singing in English =p

Met Pekkie when i set foot upon Expo, a place flooded with people... Long snaking Qs formed...
Can't even trace the head/tail kind of long queue hehe..
Nice chat to catch up with her since we hadnt met in awhile~

I can't, didnt bother to trace the queue, different category ticket-holders supposedly have different entrances, but the queues got kinda mixed up~
Doors supposed to open at 630pm, but it's still closed at 8pm (time of the start of show as stated on ticket, but why am i still standing outside taking photos?? !&**$#@*&)

People started asking the security guard on standby at carpark, the interesting woman's amazed at how fans randomly scream (she said "I thought the idol coming out.... how come they screaming at the door?"
She dished out great advice who came to ask her for directions ---she said "Nothing, no specific queue, just go somewhere near, when the doors open, just go in"
YES! That was what i was thinking~~ heehee.. Just GO!

Since we're all ticketholders, theres seats waiting for us in the Expo Hall, once the doors open.... We're entitled to walk in~~ Paying customers eh~~

It's a surreal feeling, watching the 3 of them~
After 5 years of lovin' them..
Watching countless music videos, live performances/concerts... All my memories & experiences of DBSK are restricted to audio/video footages..

NOW, it's like a dream come true~
They're finally in Singapore!! I didn't wait 5 years in vain!

Expo hall seats reminds me of wedding dinner's seats lol.. Went in front to take a photo of the seats & stage.. See the small "JYJ" in the main screen in the centre? That's one of the big screens.. Looks freaking small in this pic tho =x

JYJ only performed 6 songs, same as the Worldwide album showcase in Korea on 12 Oct i guess, i watched a HQ fancam~ I think the super videography fan planted her camera discreetly on a tripod along the railings or sth..

The footage was not shaky at all, very clear even though she zoomed in a lot... Right up to we can see the trio's facial expressions~^^

How Jaejoong dances.. Carefree/freestyle, shows that he's clearly enjoying himself onstage, makes him a great pleasure to watch..
He's improving over the years, proving haters wrong.. He's not just a prettyface..

In Korea's showcase, it's black blazer... In S'pore's showcase, it's white blazer..

How Junsu sings & dances.. He's got the best dance technique among the 3 & has a distinct dancing style~ His dolphin voice can hit the high notes perfectly~ Full of charisma on stage..

Perfectly diverting my attention from Jaejoong (well, not that i mind)
And the moment he speaks, his cute voice & tone of speech are just so endearing, like some cute, angelic boy talking.. Heheehe..
Junsu's the charismatic, cute dolphin, with a duck butt xD

Yoochun's sexy American accented English.. He's the only 1 who can comprehend English.. Though he's def no expert in Eng, he's an expert in saying the simplest words to make fans scream..
Eg. When asked abt S'pore fans.. He replied sth like "When i saw S'pore fans..... Wow!!" (plus the WOW facial expression) --wow wahlao, made fans scream like siao, i can't hear what else he said..

When asked whether he likes S'pore & want to stay longer if he can?
His reply "..Mayyybeee.."
In that awesome voice again + the charming, mysterious facial expression~ Little wonder people call Yoochun the sexy beast...
He used English throughout the talk session in the middle of the showcase, am so glad that i can understand him instantly (minus hassle of translator).. Thats gd fanservice!

I like the way he talks & sings.. The deep voice, tone of speech... So charming~

Talk segment

Junsu --the one in charge of hitting all those high high notes..
He's always the one being bullied --from DBSK era till JYJ times..
And he just laughed it off, in his signature style.. It's his special type of charm.. (maybe he got too used to being bullied? =p)

When the other members who dun feel like answering host's question, they (esp JJ) just arrow him to answer..

I feel that JYJ's not keen on answering questions/launch into casual banter in the talk segment..
Esp Jaejoong, unless the host specifically asked him to answer, he wouldnt answer.. Always point to Junsu..
There seems a lack of a spokesman in the group..
Awwww, makes me miss DBSK's band leader U-know Yunho..
He's the "default" spokesman since he's the leader..
Now without the leader, JYJ's kinda lost when it comes to talk segments~
Who to speak on behalf of the group?

The host (Ken fr 100.3 FM) commented that JYJ seemed deep in thought, thinking of how to answer the questions..

This holiday, the most "wonderful" thing that happened to me....
My dear mobile phone died on me~

Not once..

BUT TWICE!!!!

The telephone dialler just won't appear, that's a major fail on a full touchscreen phone, cos it perfectly eliminates the ability to dial any number.

Dug out my warranty card from the packaging box (i chucked it one side very soon after i bought my phone.. effectively ignoring the manual... so everything else's pretty intact)

Yeah! Still under warranty, bought it on 7 Oct 2009..

Holla, called up Nokia careline to ask, told to reset the phone back to factory settings, it didnt help..
Made it worse, phone hang at least 4 times, had to force shut it down and restart.

And was told that the Tamp service ctr's ceasing operations the very next day.. I'd to go all the way to either Vivocity or Causeway Point..

Awesome, tested several more times, asking YW to call me and stuff, the most i can only hear her go "Hello?" b4 my phone auto-shutdown.. Wasted some $ in these tryouts.. Ahhhhhh..

Went to Nokia service ctr at Vivocity (oh yes, 3rd time!) on the last day of my warranty..

The staff still ask me whether i want to buy the extended warranty (can only buy b4 warranty ends) --- $50 for additional year..

Wahlao, u think i still want meh??
Phone repair once already still spoil, if this time after their repair still spoil.. I wanna change phone already ya!

Now, after they changed the battery cover gasket (no idea what's gasket) and something else at the back of handset..

Today, went to hospital~ accompany my mum & bro to A & E dept..
Cos my bro's sick... had fever & kept vomitting, even after an injection to stop vomitting..
That injection worked for me months ago when i was really sick, vomitting every hour till i vomit water~
But it didnt work for my bro, so needed to go hospital for the drip, battling dehydration..

Waited outside since only 1 visitor's allowed per patient..
Watched the world go by while sitting outside A & E dept..
It's busy even though it's a weekday afternoon..

Public/govt hospitals are like that, so dun expect superb service given the workload they're facing everytime of the day~

Long waits + some screw ups along the way

Almost an hour after we reached home in a cab, received a call fr A & E dept, saying we left a pack of medicine there..

But the counterstaff only showed my bro 4 packets of medicine & thats what we took home, godknows why there's 1 more packet left at the pharmacy.. It's not as if we dropped it or sth.. It wasn't even given to patient in the first place~
Not gg back to fetch that forgotten pack of medicine..

If u're rich, should just go to private hospital, aha..
But u may faint when u see the hospital bill, it costed almost $1000 for less than a day there..

We chose a chocolate banana fruit tart from Fruit Paradise cos it looked so nice (normal cakes for bday is oh-so-boring le), turns out that Si likes bananas.. yeah!

Present: YW & I shopped for it, just couldnt find our way to the shop that we saw this, walked ard too much till we forgot where exactly the shop was....... we almost gave up~~ Eventually we found the shop which carries the one & only grey colour bag in this design~~

Souperlicious' soups aren't that nice, a lil diluted.. Can't compare with Soup Spoon (i love Soup Spoon's Clam Chowder!!)

Sandwiches are nice though... Nicer than Subway..

idk why her arms are so straight at the sides.. Hehe.. oh and i love my rabbit ears hairband i made myself, plus my DIY shoes.

This holiday i seemed to be entertained by variety shows more than dramas.. Maybe next week i'll go into Korean/Japanese dramas.. I haven't watched my fav Jap dramas in monthsssssss~~

But BEST thing is, my hp's spoilt.. The telephone dialler function is screwed, just wouldnt appear neh, so i can't dial any number, can only call pple from my contacts.. Thats the major fail thing abt my hp now ahhhhh..
Not to mention, when my hp first crashed while i was sending an sms, my entire messaging application crashed... When i reboot/restarted my hp, the whole inbox w 600+ messages, sent, drafts ------all phewwww GONE sia!! wth..

Going down to service my hp, hope since it's still under warranty, they wouldnt charge for repair..
Btw there's just a few days left to end of warranty date..
Does it mean that consumer electronics these days can only last a year?!?!?

Kickstarting by watching the epic Kpop 'Hallyu Dream Concert' on 19 Sept..
There's just so many Kpop groups/singers performing.. Mostly 1 or 2 songs..
So the list of Kpop stars are just so long... And i'm just listing those i can recognise..
In sequence of performance:
U-Kiss, Miss A, Nine Muses, 4 Minute, T-ara, MBLAQ, 2PM, Secret, Davichi, After School, BEAST, FT Island, Kara, 2AM, 2NE1, SHINee, Se7en, Super Junior.

-2PM's Junsu is missing in this performance =x but Wooyoung did a gd job in covering main vocals Junsu's parts in the songs..

-There's a total of 9 girl groups performing neh~
What caught my eye: Formation of new group Nine Muses seemed well-arrowed at Girls Generation (SNSD) I call this fair competition: 9 girls VS 9 girls..
But of course, Nine Muses could improve on their styling & singing skills.. hehe.. same problem as SNSD ---9 voices together still sound weak.. so i dunno what to say~

T-ara seems like a hot girl group.. It's easy to mistake T-ara and Kara since their names are so alike.. I like T-ara & Secret's performances.. My fav 4 Minute & After School girls are doing fine too ^^

-SHINee's main vocalist Jonghyun looks tired and didnt have a gd control of his voice that night.. Sad neh~ His usual powerful high notes seemed forced & sounded unnatural =x
Luckily SHINee's other vocalist Onew's doing fine that day.. Cos theres 2 SHINee guys who dun sing much.. Over-reliant on main vocalist till he's too worn out dancing & singing all the time?!?!?

-FT Island's Hongki's vocals continue to melt my heart, though i'm not too keen on their newer songs.. But cos it's him singing it, i'll like it.. Pls pls give him better songs to show off his emotive, husky vocals that defy his young age..

-SuJu's the finale performance.. Expected, since they're the biggest name in the lineup..
Seeing Hee Chul as a host of this Hallyu Concert and as a SuJu band member all in 1 night, i reckon he's a better host than a boyband member =p
Dorky & eccentric guy should just continue hosting..

Tadah! I spent 3hrs+ watching a 2hr long video on a china streaming website.. I didnt know they allow such long videos to be uploaded in 1 piece.. Usually on YT and other sites, they would be chopped into at least 10 pieces..

Went to Delifrance for dinner after submission & presentation. Woohoo marking the start of our freedom days~

Chatted at TM's Open Plaza till 10pm when security guard chased us away.. Hehe.. The place is open-air, not crowded & can talk & laugh like nobody's business. Gd hangout spot for pple with low (or no) budget =p
Unexpectedly spotted actress-turned-student Felicia Chin dining there. It was dark in the open plaza, thanks to Nat's sharp observation who said 'Girl in the pink dress!!' The outdoor dining area of the restaurants is so dark, i can't even see the colour pink. Lol.. So when i caught a glimpse of her, i only saw her side view =)

i miss Taemin's cute mushroom hair!! His hair is soooo long now... is nothing special as it makes him look like a normal girl on the street... that is b4 u see his pretty face xD

I suspect their entertainment agency is trying to market them like DBSK.. to the extent that they came up with a 4 word group name, which can also be written in Chinese characters. If u know enough kpop stuff, i think there's no other group names that can be/is meant to be written in Chinese.

They're also known as BOSS -Boys of Super Space... So many group names linked to 1 group --also reminds me of Dong Bang Shin Ki (DBSK) leh.. Cos they're also TVXQ, TVfXQ, Tohoshinki...

These 5 guys sure got potential, but their agency isnt strong enough, if they were under SM Ent or JYP Ent, i'm sure they would've hit jackpot by now~
They could've been on par with SHINee, i daresay..

YOG has come to an end~

Awww.. All that time & effort of countless people and the $$$ poured into it. (Exceeded twice the inital budget.. OMFG! Luckily our govt's rich enough to sustain that)
YOG has drawn to a close~

Spent my free days at home watching the Games on TV.. Watched swimming, gymnastics, diving, table tennis, track & field (long distance run, 4 x 100m medley, hurdles, steeplechase), 3-3 basketball, volleyball, soccer, archery, weightlifting, taekwondo & boxing. But i dun understand how taekwondo and boxing scoring system works, so dun like watching.. Like high kick nice nice, dun count, must got some other skill & pattern de.. Aye.. fighting is not my cup of tea..

I prefer Swee dang dang type of movements & style like diving & gymnastics as well as competitive ball games..

What i didnt manage to catch??
Sailing & Windsurfing, equestrian, badminton...

I like the idea of pairing lone representatives of different countries, so they can take part in the mixed team table tennis games.. Just that 1 week isn't enough to build camaraderie between 2 players.. But China's top girl and Tunisia's boy manage to clinch mixed team bronze medal.. This is a refreshing change with athletes of different countries cooperating with a sporting spirit~^^

Just watched the closing ceremony of YOG, the moment in time when the flame extinguished~~ Pass the Olympic games flag over to China (Nanjing) for 2014 games..
These young athletes would be too old to participate in Youth Olympic Games then, they are all hoping to meet each other at London Olympic Games 2012.. Where they'll "graduate" to the adult stage of competition.

Seen so many talented young athletes performing so well in 2010.. They would certainly be better in 2012.. I remember some names which i think will continue to stay in the limelight with their sporting achievements..

They made me wished i'd dedicated my time to a sport when i was younger.
Joined netball in primary 3 or 4..
1) I could have a chance to represent my school
2) I could have a chance to be in the National Youth team
3) I could have worn a jersey with "Singapore" on it during competitions
4) I COULD HAVE been 5 cm taller..

I can only continue this list and wishes in my dreams~~~~~~~~~~~~

Kenna shocked when i saw those 2 new singles appear when i selected FT Island.. But they dun have any of their older japanese singles which i'm more familiar with.. Whats up with Kbox? Hmph..

I dun have any urge to find any Mandarin songs to sing~~ Though i can sing countless Jolin Tsai, Mayday, Stefanie Sun, Angela Zhang..... JJ Lin (older songs which were a ton nicer) songs.. Got bored of singing them these days.. I can even sing oldies like Wan Fang's songs, Faye Wong's classic songs & Karen Mok's old songs (in which the old MVs made me convolt in horror), there's just too many songs to sing~~~~
I grew up listening to this "oldies", 1990s era songs~~ Cos my mum tuned in to FM 958 then..
Even 1 whole day in ktv isnt enough.. Gee, but i arent a fan of K-ing.. Cos i arent a Singer, not even a singer wannabe, vocals so weak, can't hit high notes... I rather DANCE =p

Cos i saw a Taemin lookalike last Saturday at Outram mrt station NEL aka purple line station..
Gee.. His facial features and fair skin resembles SHINee's Taemin, thats how i noticed this guy.. Cos he's not tall, with a small frame/plain thin.

Gave me an idea how maknae Taemin would look 5 years down the road.. Aha.. Cos that guy looks to be in his early 20s..
I know many noona fans are waiting for lil Taemin to grow up.. They watched him grow from 15 to 17 years old Now.. Lucky me, got a prelude, saw the 20+ year old version... LOL..
Still gd-looking, cheeks less chubby, turning more handsome than cute..

It's been awhile since i last saw a celebrity lookalike outside of school..
Prev time was at the busy road near Tamp mrt station leading to TM..

I stood by e roadside, waiting for the green man traffic light, casually turned to see a 高以翔lookalike standing right beside me. Did a Double Take... OMG. Since when Taiwan时尚F4's Godfrey Gao Yixiang is in Singapore?!?
If his name dun ring a bell in your head, then nvm, he's a model-actor who has starred in Taiwanese idol drama Tao2 hua1 xiao3 mei4 (togt w Cyndi Wang, Jiro Wang, Calvin Chen, Huang Jinglun.. He's the surfer dude elder bro of Cyndi's character).

Seriously resemble him, the towering height, model build, hints of facial hair lining his chin & jawline.. Plus he was wearing a cap ---so i cant compare whether he had a similar hairstyle =x
However, does it mean he's trying to hide his face aka look less prominent in the crowd?

And the last time i saw a SHINee member lookalike was last year, on a long bus ride: HE sat beside me on the bus from Tampines to Marine Parade.

That was one of the most memorable bus rides i had xD
He looked like Key.. With his Amigo hairstyle, thick eyebrows, fair skin, long eyelashes~
I noticed the eyelashes when i tried to glance sideways when he shut his eyes for a SHORT rest. Really short rest, cos i saw him open his eyes a few times (while i was lookin at him.. oh what the................................. i just glanced over to the opposite direction casually)
Maybe he got a 3rd eye, can see some stalker looking at him while he's "asleep"
Maybe cos he knows he's sitting in the most dangerous seat on the bus: Centre of last row.
so he can't rest for too long lest he falls asleep and once the bus driver slams brakes, he'll roll & tumble along the walkway down the bus..

Talking abt SHINee, it's been almost half a year since i saw them in person..
I wonder when they'll come again. I think they will come, SM Ent should've earned a lot from the previous fansigns & showcases held in Spore to know that Spore fans are damn rich..

Notice: i substituted "SM Entertainment" in place of "SHINee" now that we ALL KNOW, the majority of the $$$ ends up in SM Ent's pockets..

Yayness! 2 weeks of YOG break~~
Actually i dun think it's additional holiday, our sch holiday just got split into 2 parts.. reserve 2 weeks for YOG.. Since it's such a big sporting event for our small red dot island.

The YOG torchbearing run ard Spore event, passed by my house, but i didnt catch it aha..

Watched daily YOG events on Ch 5 in the afternoon for the past 2 days.. I llike watching gymnastics & swimming.. Rainer Ng came in first in one of the semi-finals ytd, looks like he's in contention of a medal^^
Hopes SG gets a medal from swimming too~ Got 2 bronzes from Taekwondo so far..

Just extracted a wisdom tooth (finished up what was being "left off" the last time, when i had 2 wisdom teeth extracted via surgery) the corresponding tooth has to go too~ delayed till now..
Cos it hasnt caused me problems YET..

Now bitting a gauze and watching Jap movie Detroit Metal City, cast featuring my fav Deathnote series actor Kenichi Matsuyama..
He's really a versatile actor, one wouldnt think this guy from Detroit Metal City is the cool & mysterious detective L in Deathnote..

My PINK OCTOPUS

My final assignment -1m x 1m sculpture~
A huge pink octopus~

Made of fabric and cotton stuffings, i used foam sheets to make the tentacles' undersides..
those circular rings~ Bought 4 pairs of rainbow socks for those 8 legs..
Making it more colorful & cute!!

Since the octopus is a highly intelligent creature, can multi-task very well..

I kept it busy by letting it juggle balls, dribble basketballs, read book, fan itself, scratch head.. Hehe..

Took me sometime to hang the whole octopussy up plus all those barang barang that it's toying with~

My cutesy cutie octopus is still on display in the studio's exhibition space..

And my clay and wire sculptures are on display a Illuma Level 3..

3D Art Fun module coming to an end soon~
Means need to do Final Project real SOON~

OMFG i need ideas for my 1m x 1m sculpture..
And i'm on a budget... My friend who completed this module previously said she spent $100 on her sculpture.. (O.o)

But firstly, gd ideas are hard to come by~ I arent gd at craft stuff so my sculpture shouldnt be too complex, lest i can't complete it within days.. Then it should be 3-dimensional, need to brainstorm on how to start/where to start making the different parts & assemble them togt..

Paper? Cardboard? Clay? Plaster? Wire? Food? Junk aka recycled materials?
(was tempted to do a food sculpture when i saw someone did a bread & pocky & oreo sculpture + carving)

IDEAS.IDEAS.IDEAS. I NEED IDEAS.

P.S. I think my Ideation module fr Block 2 didnt help me at all.. fml...

4th block

Welcoming the 4th block of school~

3D Art Fun.. Doing 3D sculpturing.. For the past week, have been meddling with clay~
Unfortunately i fell really sick just aft 3 days.. Clay makes pple sick? Hehe.. Nyeh~
Contaminated food's the main culprit + immunity running low after overnight camp over the weekend in school.. Camps are where viruses spread like wildfire and people fall sick one after another..

Updated my FB status after i puked out my entire dinner.. Received concern fr some friends.. Thanks yall! i didnt see them till e next day as i was too sick to be online~
Went on to puke 4 more times.. Vomit until there's nothing more to vomit.. Vomit water~ WTH. I hadn't vomitted so much b4 (usually enjoy high immunity).. And i don't usually fall sick easily.. I don't believe it either..

BUT DURING THE PAST 2 MONTHS, I FELL SICK TWICE!
BREAK PERSONAL RECORD!!!!!!!!

During 2nd block, was too tired fr chiong-ing and had recurring high fever for 2 days..
Start of 4th block, havent started to chiong or anything then fall sick alrdy.. Stomach flu late at night+ Fever the next day..

Busted 100 bucks on doctor fees.. At 1:30am, only places to go is 24hrs clinic or hospital A & E dept..
The doctor who was on night duty looked quite young.. And not just young, he dun look like a doctor lor.. So damn tanned, big-sized & VERY muscular (yes! i stared at his huge biceps for a gd 5 sec, oh and did i mention chest muscles? hehe i'm deviating fr topic) I think he looks more like a gym instructor =p

Went on MC the next day, duh! I almost died of dehydration.. Opted for injection instead of medication to stop e vomitting, the feeling of puke is really eeeeks! I dunno how those anorexic/bulimic people who eat then puke the half-digested food out can create that habit.
Ultimate gross self-torture..

On friday there was no lesson (free time for people to come to studio to finish their work)... N0 choice but to come.. So glad to be able to complete the construction of my Eiffel Tower in 7hrs! Not really polished piece of work, but i can't afford more time, need to rush off to meet my dear NAFA friends whom i hadn't met in awhile.
And i need more rest too~ Prefers to rest on saturday.. i love my weekend! AS ALWAYS~

The assignment's a 30 cm clay sculpture.. I thought a tower would be easy to "make high-high".. in the end i got too "high", made the sculpture almost 50 cm.. Wahahaha.. Seriously hope it still stands tall when i go back to studio tmr.. Cos it's a hollow structure, pure clay walls, no hidden wooden sticks, no stuffed newspapers core..

I'm pretty pleased at my 1st attempt of clay sculpturing.. never in my life had i constructed something this big out of clay b4.. I hardly played with Playdoh when i was young too, i didnt like my lil hands to be dirty.

Though i know my confidence level will take a beating when i see others' fine work.. There's always very amazing-ly crafted works with loads of creativity..

I shall upload some photos i've taken of those 1m x 1m sculptures (final assignment) done by other classes..

World Cup's coming to an end soon~~~~~

Wanna watch World Cup finals tonight!
Once every 4 years!
But i havent watched a single match, i wanted to watch semi-final Spain vs Germany match,
set my alarm clock at 2:30am. Woke up but fell asleep again without knowing.
Woke up at 6+am.... By then the match is long over~~~~~~

1st time tapping into the free internet island-wide (selected hotspots) access to Internet..
I think i sound kinda Old.. Cos this WL@ SG thing has been implemented since how many XXX years ago~

Just that i didnt have a laptop then, so done all my surfing at home or in school~
Last week, I suddenly decide to sign up for Wireless account..Teehee..
I signed up not only for 1, i signed up with all available network operators~
Singtel, M1 & iCell..
In theory, u only need 1 account. Cos the 3 operators' users can tap into the same network..
But being the kiasu Sporean, u know la... Hehe.. Since it's FOC anw.. It's one of the national privileges..

Now i'm sitting in Burger King outlet near my house, it's often empty (i wonder how BK do business.. cos some of their outlets are like practically empty, lest for some pple who use their place for studying and free internet access)

Was cursing Wireless when it d/c while i was surfing FB..
Tried to login again using my Singtel acct.. It refused to work. WTF. So i continued using my M1 account.. M1's more reliable i guess..

So here's one..

Today when i took bus 15 fr interchange, i saw a Ryo Nishikido lookalike!!!
OMG like those eyes, few pple have those kind of eyes. Sleepy, yet awake & curious, half-opened eyes covered partially by a thick side swept fringe, fans call those deep-set dreamy eyes.. Oki, whichever set of description u prefer... Those are special eyes that attract attention LOLs.

His side profile & 3quarter side face really look like Ryo Nishikido.. Btw Ryo's the pro guy who happened to be in 2 JE idol groups: NEWS, Kanjani8
Don't ask me why is he so lucky.. Cos i dun give a damn about them anymore~~
I was once a fan of NEWS (cos of Yamapi) but NEVER liked Kanjani8.. I think K8 is like sticking out like a sore thumb in the midst of other prettyboys idol grp in JE.

I hardly see Johnny Entertainment (JE) boys lookalike in S'pore, the previous time i saw one (half year ago) it was my TOP FAVE Kamenashi Kazuya, the previous previous time was in 2008, i saw 3 Hey! Say! JUMP members' lookalikes. U can call that a major coup.. hehe.. At the Clementi bus stop where i used to take buses regularly was the 'SPOT a cute/handsome Japanese boy' hotspot.. As there's a Japanese high school nearby..
A forever regretted thing was, I somehow chose to stand in a position whereby I couldnt see the cutest HSJ-lookalike boy --Yuri Chinen.. OFMG i must have gone bonkers then made a bad choice.. The other 2 lookalikes resemble Ryutaro Morimoto & Keito Okamoto.
Nvm if those jap names sound alien, cos there's 10 boys in HSJ, ability to recognise them is considered quite a feat, much less rmb their names.

Awhile back, i was queuing to board a bus at TP bus stop, happened to turn and see a guy who looks like Julian Hee (Local actor better known for his hunky image than his acting chops ---he was a Mr Singapore Universe).. I did a double take... Teehee, cos i've nv seen someone resemble Julian.
On further LOOK, i realised he has got Elvin Ng type of eyes..

More theory based modules.. Last block was hell cos 2 very hands-on modules were placed side by side.. This block, much of my time was spent online..
My bro came home fr work and commented, u seem to be online every night
My reply? Yep, need to do research then homework's a journal entry a day

Bad thing is many pple procrastinate (a hell lot more) while online, too many distractions.. we know of too many good websites, videos, entertainment thats available FOC & 24/7.

Typical night goes like this:
8pm after dinner.... Switch on laptop... Surf surf surf, check FB kaypoh kaypoh...
Realised it's 10++pm then start researching after reading Lesson Notes... End work at typically 12++ or 1+ am..

--Ladies Night at Mind cafe (tamp) with XZ & YW.. it's been awhile since i went there.. Played Clue for an entire hour (boardgame/guess who's the murderer, whats the weapon & in which room) Outcome: I won!!

Had supper at 24h coffeeshop b4 heading home.. Chicken satay & Rojak!!

--Fri night @ Orchard Cine with Hoono peepz (1st time gg Hoono gathering cos they always schedule on days i cant go)
Movie in a cosy suite at E! Max level 9~ a good hangout for 4 frens & above, just book a room and rent a DVD.. It costs lesser than gg2 the cinemas.. And u can talk all u like while watching the movie.. U can even *shush* smuggle food inside there.
They dun catch pple.. We experienced 1st hand.. Heehee..
Zaza thot remote control's nt working, so went outside to gt assistance.. next thing we knew, the person came in & all of us were eating dinner.......
FOOD ~ all types fast food to rice to soupy stuff all sprawled on the floor like picnic in the park (cos no tables there)
We all stunned & stopped eating for that eternal moment~~

--Went Bugis shopping w my Mum, brought her to Art Friend (she's nv been there, tho she'd been to Bras Basah Cmplx umpteen times) as i wanted to get art supplies..
Saw WONDER GIRLS at Illuma!! Walked into Illuma and saw pple queuing and crowded near the stage.
Quite special entrance was created.. Wonder Girls to stroll into mall after alighting fr car and go straight to level 2 via escalator outside.. I thot it was quite creative... As the Sony Ericsson store's at level 2.. Of course want brand ambassadors to visit the store first b4 gg to meet fans..

It's a Meet & greet session~ I've learnt that u must take word-for-word in the event title for Korean stars events... Autograph session is strictly autograph only (note: no 'S', so 1 autograph fr 1 member of entire grp only)
So no performances.. Just smile + short short interview then started autographing for those lucky fans who're rich enough to buy Sony Eric phones..

--Bakerzin outing w Clover.. Well, in the end went Manpuku.. Hehe..
Omu rice is nice! Looks healthy too: got coleslaw (veggie), egg, rice, prawn.. all for $6.50 ^^
Another thing i like is the ambience.. The jap food court is huge with many cosy, carefully decorated corners for more privacy in dining..
We turned it into a good photoshoot opportunity =D

--Fathers' Day went Downtown East w family to Just Acia.. Last time we went was in Xmas.. The restaurant has new menu and new coffee making machine! Now it dispenses Hot Chocolate =D i drank 2 cups teehee...
I love the chicken teriyaki & soft shell crab set meal i ordered, the noodles my mum ordered was nice too, QQ de..

--John Clang's exhibition at Mt Sophia.. 5 pple grp outing (part of ComDI module) became a mini class outing of sorts when 16 pple turned up..
Imagine AYK, MIY & I's surprise when we (who said 'meet at 1030am') arrived at 1055am & saw many classmates seated on 3/4 tables outside Starbucks..

Blogging abt 2nd block of sch, only aft 2nd block ended..

Cos was just too busy with sch work~ Not enough time to sleep, No time to blog or FB too~

First time experiencing 2 modules in 1 block & morning class at 9am!!!!
Human traffic jam, need to wait for 2nd bus from interchange.. 1st day of class, at least 10 pple were late.. Young & kinda cranky VPres teacher became damn pis*ed off with our class~~ Scolded each & every one's who was late..

In the initial weeks, another stressful thing is the VPres teacher expects work to be submitted the very next morn 905am (exact time of dateline)..

This Mad chase of daily datelines was draining my energies at an accelerating speed..

Another Mad thing is, everyone seems to be working late into the night..
-girls afraid to go out of house at 2am to use the spray mount (fyi, spray mount's highly toxic & can't be used indoors/enclosed areas) end up having sticky floors cos they sprayed in their own rooms
-guy afraid of being mistaken as loanshark runner while 'loitering' ard the corridor late at night ---with a spray can in hand (under dim light spray mount can = spray paint can?)

Ultimate Madness is, i'm moving into the last weeks of study at NAFA = final submissions to rush!

The Maddest thing is, i didnt really feel the tiredness... The design spirit kept me (us) going~~

UNTIL..

Fell sick 2 weeks ago aft chiong-ing too much.. My supposedly strong immune system's weakened by sleep deprivation..

I was in class, felt my head was heating up but at the same time i felt cold... Hot & Cold at the same time.. I was like 'Sheeeet... sick liao la' =x

On MC for 2 days..

Cos i'd fever everyday for 3 days.. Like WTH what new virus is that? I usually dun have recurring fevers..

While i was sick, i continued working on my bookmark designs.. Talking abt Live & Breathe Design.. As long as i Live/Breathe, i Design..

SOOO glad that this hiong block has ended 2 days ago... 2 modules with a lot of assignments & brainstorming shldn't be placed togt lor...

Next block starting on coming mon~ 2 modules too, but more theoretical modules this time..

I am a NAFA grad!!!!
Can't wait to get my certification soon~~~~~
Something that i worked for.. Paid the fees on my own.. Attended almost all the night classes despite being tired after work (4+ mths) and school (1+ mth)

Take deep breath... and i need to work on my NAFA assignments..

'Celebrated' end of 1st module in 1st block with a late lunch at Manpuku @ tamp one..

With Jen, LH.. we love the background.. just that some of the mirrors with beautifully classic frames are put so high up.. Can't serve as our vanity mirrors, hehe just for decorative purposes~

The food are reasonably priced.. Spent a Grand total of $8 for sakura ebi okonomiyaki & dessert (ice cream).. Would recommend it to East-siders.. Or anyone who happens to be near Tampines Central.. Manpuku's a japanese food court at level 3 btw..

For those living nearer to town, theres a Ishi Mura japanese food court at City Square Mall (just opp Farrer Park Mrt & i prefer to walk there fr Lavender mrt) It has Absolutely Awesome Okonomiyaki!!!! So tasty that i didnt even think of trying anything else on my repeat visit.

Lol.. those who know me, will probably know that i'm those type who likes to try out diff things/food~
Wouldn't eat the same stuff very often even tho she likes it.. Really cant comprehend those who can have chicken rice every other day just cos they love it~

Loved the matcha ice cream at Manpuku~^^
Wants to be back there to try Sesame ice cream.. Recently, i tried Uzumaki's black sesame ice cream ----it's was AWESOME!

Today, my next door neighbours moved out~

Best thing is: we didnt know till their potted plants & shoe racks placed outside the house went missing.

The housewife mother who's home most of the time didnt tell my mum leh..

We saw them throwing out some stuff previously, but who knows if it's spring cleaning or moving out..

All that separates our apartment is a small corridor for the staircase, but the distance b/n pple who live close to each other are often very wide..

Eg, how many pple actually know your neighbour's name? Have his/her contact no? Bothered to call out to him/her if u see them in the middle of Orchard Rd?

I wonder who's the next family/people moving in..

So far they were the noisiest.. Think: a family with 6 kids.. Includes 3 toddlers.. 1 pri sch.. 1 sec sch & 1 who dropped out of sec sch..

That explains why our front door is almost always shut.. One wouldnt fancy hearing baby cries/shouts/blabbering noises one too many times eh?

The 1st time i stood near the fence (metal horizontal bars) of TDS building, i wondered why they're so low.. It's useless. It's below my waist level.. Darn, which means if i suddenly back into the fence or lose balance and hit the fence, i may just topple over cos my centre of gravity is higher than the top of the fence.

BEST thing is: this place is 5 storeys high..

So i am usually careful when i stand near the fence.. i'll grab hold of the top bar or sth and wouldnt walk too near it since the corridor isnt narrow. When given a choice, make the smart choice.. The path is wide~ Hehe..

Jef's blackberry phone dropped from 5th storey down~

Yeah his beloved phone went skydiving from top storey to ground storey.. He went 'OMGomg OMG omgOMG' in a frantic high-pitched voice then ran down to get his phone.. Lucky he din roll down the stairs in that mad dash.

I didnt know wat happened then, i just thot whats up with this Al Jeffrey YH Kwon W this morning??? (oh yes, this guy's name is damn long -internal joke for those who know him)

Cause of whole incident: Butterfingers (quoting AJYHKW on his FB)

of course plus the low fence and walls of the corridor.

Gonna quote what he wrote on his blog.. Cos this step-by-step description's so rofl..

"1) Rushed to school for submission.
2) Classrooms and submission area at Level 5.
3) Pinned up my work.
4) Stepped back 2 steps to see the alignment.
5) SMS came in.
6) Reached out for it in my pocket.
7) Slipped from my hand.
8) Dropped on the floor.
9) Cover and battery came out.
10) Whole handset swung through the handrails.
11) Suay suay handrails got holes.

15) Everyone went "OHMYGOD" when they saw my phone (including strangers)."

Aftermath: Blackberry phone's so hardy, he could still make phonecalls & sms..

Just that qwerty keys began to light up at the same time aft the keypad fell out (Blackberry's NEW LOOK: Blackberry Torch Shining light)

I think the phone eventually died later in the day.. No surprise tho, even if the skydive bungee jump w/o the bungee rope didnt kill it, the torchlight keys would have depleted all its battery..

Drawing Essentials module is coming to an end soon!

It doesn't mean no more drawing tho... Heard fr the others that the next week's Ideation new module also have drawings to do... Hmm..
Okie.. Drawings wouldn't kill me.. I don't ace it either.. I think painting will~ I can't paint properly..
That module is 2D Art Fun... Helluva nice name eh? Wait till ur final submission is a gigantic (think bigger than A2 size) wooden board.. Hehs..

Let's think on the bright side, u get to look really artsy... by looking real busy while seated behind the big board perched on a wooden stand.. but in fact, u.. really am busy hard at work..

Today's class ~ quite slack.. suppose to spend the time fruitfully by coming out with more layouts for our final A2 size submission.. 1 grp of classmates entertain themselves by singing & dancing along songs and recording their own music video using Mac's photo booth..

-I saw the young Fann Wong lookalike ard.. Still thinks she looks like Fann Wong aft seeing her several times.. the eyes, face, fair porcelain-like skin, long straight black hair.... Just that she's not that tall la.. (Cloud's trying to find some imperfection to make herself feel better hehs)

1 is Freshie, another's a Junior/Senior (Junior = Year 2)... EG saw the latter walk past during orientation, and the best part was he was wearing SHADES then! EG was practically spazzing in excitement when speaking of this (cos TOP looks really effin hot/cool/great/best when donning shades)

-Today Jeffrey told us there's a Jo Kwon (fr 2AM... forms the popular Adam couple with Ga-In in We Got Married) lookalike in the class next to ours, so 3/4 of us went to the corner of the classroom to peep (we were damn obvious can?)
FYI, our 'classrooms' dun've walls.. it's just 4 classes in 1 design studio... with boxes stacked up & whiteboards separating each class..

To be exact, she's moving into 3rd week of school next week~ Time flies..
It's such a brilliant feeling to be learning design/drawing... Doing vastly different stuff fr students continuing the boring route of rote-learning in junior colleges..

Why wasn't I enlightened enough to choose this creative route when i was 16????
That would've saved me a HELLUVA PRECIOUS TIME & YOUTH..
So gawd damn.. i was this 16 year old who just followed the flow and went to a top college.. and i think none fr my sec sch class went to a polytechnic..
So it just didnt cross my mind to explore other options..
Stupidity of a Sixteen year old girl~

Anw, now that i'm older & wiser.. I hope can do well in an area when i'm passionate in..
In another sense, it's the only thing that i wanna do now~
By Elimination Method --gawd, i sound like i'm preaching abt Maths
oki..
I can't take Science & Engineering courses cos my Maths ability is below Sea (C) level.
I can't possibly enter IT school cos my IT skills arent as gd as i desire them to be.
I get bored by Business courses subjects v easily cos of the theoretical stuff. I pay to sleep during lectures. Not a gd sign for gd grades.
I don't want to take Humanities courses cos i think there isnt gd job prospects.. Is there room for geologists and historians in S'pore? Economists, def yes... But Econs at higher level consists of complex mathematical formulas that looks like a maze to me.
I decided not to confuse myself further by pursuing them tho my JC's Econs isnt too bad..

entranced to tds: 1st update

This blog's been left alone by it's busy owner to fend for itself for almost a month.. By now, this blog should have learnt independence & be self-sufficient as well as self-entertain when nobody's visiting..

For the past weeks, been wrapping up my work at THE LAW FIRM by handing the stuff to the new intern.. the intern's an intelligent guy (if not how on earth could he survive RI & RJC??)
He shld be coping well i think.. Havent been in contact with him since..

Went to Design Orientation Camp.. See the TP Design Sch (TDS) seniors are all kinda crazy & weird in their own adorable way..
We freshies can sort of get a feel of what we'll be like after spending time as a TDS student..

Started & PROUD TO SAY THAT
SHE SURVIVED 1 WEEK OF DESIGN SCHOOL!!
Just have 1 module for the first block.. before u say 'What a slack timetable...'
Mind you, our blocks come in 3h slots..
1st mod: Drawing Essentials

Spending 3hrs drawing/sketching pages & pages of work aka Still Life is no joke sia..
Some classmates who preferred to draw at their own leisure pace probably got it worse, they have to speed up their working speed (which also means minus the joy of sketching)

Whatever la, everyday got homework.. DRAW.draw.DRAW.

And not to forget, my NAFA part time course hadnt come to an end..
1 plus month~
I still owe 2 pieces of work for NAFA's Principles of Design module.. Layout Design & Color Study..
Gawd.. Bless me..

Being a Design Student is never easy..
Being able to make it to Director's List after a brilliant school year is even more difficult..

Got a first feel of SHINee's outdoor concert in Singapore...
In front of a 10,000 strong crowd, at the Marina Bay floating platform, facing the scenic city skyscape that lights up at night.
You can see the Singapore Flyer, Esplanade, Peaceful river waters~^^

Many local, taiwanese, hong kong singers/groups performed at the awards ceremony. But the main draw for the majority of the audience is most likely the Korean group SHINee.
I find it kinda weird when it was announced that SHINee's coming.. Cos i thot Singapore Entertainment Awards (SEA) is for Mandarin pop songs.
SHINee didnt have any Chinese songs leh... (Fyi, their seniors DBSK & SuJu do have Chinese songs) Hmm.. How come they come to this award ceremony?
Funny eh..
I doubt the fans will mind this weird arrangement. All we want to see is SHINee (^.^)

Arrived at 5... Q-ed in the drizzle to enter the Marina Bay platform stands..
Sat togt with the hot pink grp of Liang Wenyin fans.. I like their idea of getting hot pink helium balloons and tying all of them to a banner (hoping to make it fly into the sky)
Unfortunately, it was too heavy, 50 balloons arent enough to lift it high up.. so change in plans: each fan hold on to 1 balloon, then let it fly after LWY finished her songs..
I don't think this turned out well actually, cos after singing, she turned & left e stage, i dun think she saw the balloons~

Shld've slowly released them when she's singing.. Add more romantic-ness to her ballads~^^
And their customised LED boards are so striking under the mysterious cloak of darkness, attracting much attention fr the rest of e crowd.

Sat directly behind 1 row of Xiaogui's fans -- i like their black skull cut outs that they waved as 小鬼belted out 2 songs amid screaming fans.
He's been hosting 100% Entertainment for several years, amassed quite a big fanbase here~

Had fun cheering for Xiaogui togt with his fans~ It's always nice to cheer and scream togt w a grp of enthusiastic pple rather than scream on your own and risk looking like some siao zha bor =p
Thanks to a whistle i got fr LWY fans, i could make more NOISE as & when i like... Lol.. For LWY, Xiaogui & my lovely SHINee..

I felt the crazy urge to exclaim in excitement when i saw FT Island appear in a trailer video of celebrities.. The organisers got them to say something (dun ask me what they said, cos i dunno, kept busy by all that excitement building up in me & the screams by girls in e audience drowned FTi's voices)
It's just part a video (barely a min) and FTi arent even coming for this event..
Why am i so excited for??

Performed 3 fast tracks.. Dancing throughout~~ OMG.. So worth my ticket price of $24+..

Totally didnt expect them to kickstart their perf with my all-time fav song! It's the song that got me noticing them, 1st song they released in their 1st Mini Album.. Symbolic thats why?

For that 10 min or so... I was in SHINee Heaven~
Finally got to see them perform 'live' looks diff from video footage..
So surreal~

Almost the entire audience were standing up.. I stood on the seat eventually cos i'm tired of craning my neck & standing up in such a straight manner.. Oki, i admit i often slouch, cant stand straight/properly.. usually slant to one side.. Pretty restless i would say..

A-Do --sang 2 of his signature songs... Awww.. so nice.. plus a new song, with a funny title.. 听见牛在哭.. really sounds like 听见牛仔裤.. So Lol-ing song name~

Tanya --talented musician.. A simple acoustic guitar accompanying her strong vocals~

Event ended b4 12.. But at 11++ after SHINee's performance, many people started leaving..
I was kinda surprised cos Eason Chan is an A-lister.. Maybe not that popular in Sg... But he's the most popular HK singer in Mandarin Pop scene.. I feel bad towards Eason~ So embarrassing!!!
Whatever it is, it's rude to leave a performance when someone's performing on stage.

Took Night Rider bus home.. The long ride of 1 and half hr brought me to many places..
I expected myself to drift off to sleep, but i was
1) Suffering from the aftermath of the excitement of seeing SHINee
2) Hadn't been on a sightseeing trip on a bus for quite sometime since i'd been busy working
3) Too tired till i was numb to the tiredness

The bus went to Orchard, Mohammed Sultan area, Marine Parade, Bedok, Tanah Merah, Simei then finally Pasir Ris..
Went past my former schs --teejay & ahs (the backgate area.. the bus stop where i used to take bus 17 home) awww.. nostalgia time in the quite wee hours of the night!

Reached home at almost 130am... The NR bus stopped right at the bus stop opposite my house... Yayness~ Convenient & Cheap (compared to cab fare) & Nostalgia inducing..

It would be nice to have a companion..
Although it would translate to a diff feel of the bus journey~
Chit chatting rather than enjoying the peacefulness of the night..

Kites bugis BK MCday

It's the Season for flying Kites

Since there's strong winds coming from the northern side.. Aka seabreeze?
The green grassland near my house would be flooded with kite-flyers on weekend evenings..

One fine day when my Mum's walking home after alighting from a bus.. She saw a huge fabric (those gd quality types) kite falling a short distance away from her. The string's either broke or got cut by another kite's string.

The kite eventually landed on the road.
In the way of an oncoming car which went over it..

The Malay woman walking in front of my Mum went 'Ohhhhh!!'
She went forward to take the kite after the car drove away.

My Dad's the one driving the car..
What a coincidence!!

My Mum wanted to pick up the big kite, but the Malay woman was in front & nearer to the kite.. Of course she got it.. Actually my Dad wanted to take the kite too, when he drove past and saw it fluttering towards the ground, but since he's driving, it's hard for him to stop and pick it up.

He thought the kite probably belonged to the Malay woman.
My mum said No, that woman alight fr the same bus as her, she can't possibly be kite-flying b4 that.. Lols..
And he didnt see my mum walking by the roadside, he probably set sight only on the kite.. =p

Just in case u're wondering why i'm free to blog now~ Hehe, no i'm not slacking at work..
Truth is, i didnt go to work.. On MC for 2 days...

Cos my left eyelid's swollen.. Quite uncomfortable & feels itchy.. It's infection/inflammation due to dust, dirt getting into my eye..
Went to see a doctor ytd, (hoping to get a day's MC) got 2 days =p

I still went to school ytd night.. I think the antibotic the doctor prescribed made me really hungry.. I'd an early dinner b4 gg for class (15 min late... My ALS kicking in)

Barely 1h into the lesson, my stomach's growling loudly.. Yeah, loud enough for my friend next to me could hear~
Lesson ended 1h early, i gulped down lots of water & thot i could tahan until i reach home..

As i walked thru Bugis Village towards train station, I was perspiring & i felt cold. Coldness~ In the middle of Bugis Village Level 1???!? Guess i was breaking out in cold sweat. WTH. I NEED food & a drink to go with it....

At that hour (9:30pm) the first thing i thot of was McDonalds since many food outlets are alrdy closed/closing. I made my way out of Bugis Village, first thing i saw ---Burger King..
I decided, yeah that's the place..

Got myself a mushroom swiss students meal with iced milo.. As i drank Milo & ate the slightly soggy fries, I felt a sense of guilt.. Eating unhealthy fast food which i arent too fond of for supper.. Omg~ Reluctance to eat vs growling stomach, spent more than half an hour eating the meal... The burger shrank in size, just like Mac's... too lil of those tasty mushrooms which i love..
Thanks to the BK meal, i managed to travel home in comfort --no more coldness even though the mrt trains these days are freakin fcuking cold-for-no-reason.

Sick leave = Leave to rest at home .. So I'm at home resting~~ Watching DBSK's The Secret Code Tokyo Dome concert (their last concert tour b4 their lawsuit thing) reminiscing their gd o' times while listening to their beautiful voices..

Dear DBSK~~ It's been so long~~ It's kinda sad that i can't name some songs which you all sang at this concert.. I've listened to almost all your songs over these 4+ years.. I'm sorry cos my memory's not that fantastic, i rmb lovin' these songs.. But then, i just cant rmb those song titles =x *hangs head low*

Tmr i'll be back to work, should be quite busy ba~~~

Time flies freakingly fast.. (triple Fs wtf lol)

CNY's over w/o much realisation.. Reunion lunches & dinners~~~

It's nice see relatives whom i get to see like once (maybe twice) a year~

Then i would think how much we know abt each other (not much to say about.. other than he/she is my aunt/uncle/cousin/nephew......) How sad that is..

Make small talk. Eat. Talk some more. Eat some more.
Finish eating. Thats about all. Cos my relatives dun gamble nor smoke/drink..
So it's just gather at house/restaurant to eat..

As we grow older, we will start to realise that it's getting more difficult to meet people.. Everyone's busy & stuff like that.

Chances are we will meet only on chinese new year/weddings/funerals (红白两事)
These occasions bring people together, be it for the gd or bad reasons..
Other 'occasions' include: first month of baby birth, hospitalisation of grandparent..... There shld be more i think..
Just that i'm too tired to think now.....

Fast Zzz-ing soon after 3 days of work, coupled with 2 nights of school.. Right after the 5 day CNY holiday.. Comin' weekend will be a busy one.. Dance perf & stuff.. I'm an Energiser Bunny in real need of a recharge~

So i'm on holiday next week... I took 2 days leave to do my sch assignment..
I hope/seriously think/humbly pray i can complete the computer design work and have it printed & mounted within 2 days..

31 Jan --- The day Cloud did a crazy thing..

She went to SHINee's autograph session~~

The oh-so-shining SHINee --btw SHINee's name is read 'shining'
No candy for guessing whats the meaning of the band name..

Woke up at 345 am, sneaked out of my house at 4am (she did a gd job cos none of her family members knew it)
Managed to board the first cab that she saw roaming the otherwise empty streets & headed to pick up Peifen at her house.
Towards our destination: the ulu-ulu Lot One in Choa Chu Kang --a place she has never been to..

At 440am, there's already so many many pple there!!!! Heard that pple started Q-ing since 9pm e night b4.
It's quite a challenge to find the end of the Q.. Seems like nobody knew, pple from this end pointed to the opposite end & vice versa.. Hehe..

We settled somewhere where we think it looks like the end of the Q, surprised to see Pekkie there!^^ I only knew she's a DBSK & Arashi fan who recently taken a liking to FT Island. Didnt expect her to turn up for a SHINee event.

== talking abt FT Island, i cant believe i was so busy she forgot the dates that FTI's comin' to S'pore. 29th and 30th.. Felt like banging against the wall, slapping myself, etc..
OMG! It's until my oh-so-uninterested brother of mine asked 'Isn't FT Island in S'pore?? U didnt go to their autograph session?'
By that time he asked, it's alrdy too late *hangs head low*

i wonder why their stylist put them in such vibrant outfits while in Sg.. Putting this kind of outfits on FT Island kinda reminds me of SHINee..
They're popular enough, they dun need bright outfits to make pple sit up & notice them ahahah..

i still can't believe i missed out on meeting/seeing FT Island on their 3 trips to Singapore.. Like how many Korean artistes will come to SG 3 times in a span of half a year?? ==

SO i DECIDED. Die-die must go to see SHINee.. cos it's the 1st time ever SM Entertainment artiste/grp are coming to SG.
I previously thought the country 'Singapore' wasn't printed on SM Entertainment's HQ office wall's world map.

When we finally got our 1st Q no (some volunteers took down names & gave out Q no.s since 3am as the event is for the 1st 1000 fans only)

Guess what number we got??
1001 & 1002! It's like so lucky/unlucky depending on how u see it.. lols..
Can go buy 4D liao~ Ahaha..
I should've.. REALLY. Cos 1100 came in the 2nd prize that night. If i'd bought iBet, just betting $1 alone will let me have a small windfall of $160.
Woohooohoooo...
I forgot that the 4 digits written on my hand is just right for 4D betting. (Cloud's arent a gambler by nature.. lol)

I havent read any fan accounts of the event yet, cos i'm busy & cos i wanna complete my own account b4 reading others [ i hereby solemnly swear that it's all original text that i'd written, not copy & paste other pple's stories ]

The situation's crazy.. As in CRAZY in CAPS no doubt.. i wonder if more than 2 or 3000 pple turned up at the mall..
1000 lucky fans got to enter the venue + a lot squeezed outside rooftop garden behind barricades & glass doors + many scattered ard the mall + crowds in Basement carparks as they couldnt find anywhere else to plonk themselves..

At 830am, Pekkie & i went to tabao Mac for breakfast.. I hate McDonalds food, but no choice leh, dun see anywhere else other than 7-11 & Mac.
Happened to see a mob of screaming fans prying open the glass doors of Lot One, initially i thot they were waiting for the doors to open so they can rush in (they arent in the first 1000 pple u see)....

BUT, on our way back to our 'campsite', we saw the entrance empty... Glass door dislodged from the floor by an inch or so...
1 lone slipper... Pot of Mandarin orange plant collapsed (CNY decor).. The floor's wet (presumably it's fresh but dirty orange juice xD)...
OMG! IT's actually like Breaking in, trepassing... = CRIMINAL OFFENCE!!!

Never underestimate the power of desperate teenage girls.. And of course the power of Shawols (SHINee's fans are called Shawols)

In the end, they got chased down by the Police/security guards who threatened to cancel the event if they still persist.

On a positive note, it's really nice to have friendly people around us in the Q, makes time fly faster. Small chat + had fun viewing Korean perf videos on Crys' laptop. 1 laptop = 9 people watching at the same time.. It must be a funny sight cos we're seated neatly in 2 by 2..

But our peacefulness was destroyed when people started cutting Q.. they simply flooded in when we were abt to be led upstairs. WTF.. Why no barricades?!?!?? Our neat queues transformed into a mob of pple. That was when we were squashed like sardines.. That's when i start to feel it's a blessing to be tall. At least i can BREATHE in there. Started fanning my 'newfound friends' as we try to stay togt in the crowd, give them some air~~ Yes, i'm always the nice nice Cloud...

Wanna make sure none of them faints b4 seeing SHINee..
I'm alright if they faint in front of their fav member later.. Lols.. At least they'll get more attention from their idols.. --jkjk~

Tadah! This ultimate ticket is all that matters for the day~

Scratch the ticket & u'll see the member whom u can get the autograph from~ seems like some kind of lucky draw =p

Getting that ticket marks the hope, joy, exhilaration........... for all the fans..

I didnt have much feel actually.. It's just FINALLYYYYYY i'm here..

Thankful, but i do feel duped..
On our way to the rooftop, the organising pple told us : The album costs $60 which comes with a free poster, if dun want to buy, can just back out now *shown the way out (door at the staircase)*
WTH. Like who will back out at this moment after so many hours of Q-ing. Pekkie thot of not buying cos she dun like SHINee that much.. So ex + cab fare $20 = $80 flew away in a day!!
Crys replied 'Woman, u're already here, just buy and go in la!'
She did.. yeah.. Can sell the album after that i know pple started selling the autographed albums just after the autograph session.

Rooftop garden, if u can see (zoom in or sth) behind the glass doors/entrance to rooftop garden.. there's many many fans 'trapped' behind the barricades..
They can't come in w/o the tickets..
If they did manage to flood in, it'll be Hell all over again..

What i didnt like was the limitations of the autograph session. I think i got too accustomed to Taiwanese artistes' events.. Think autograph session = can 1st watch short performance then get all members autograph & handshakes.

Korean style autograph session = autograph only, no handshakes, no PERFORMANCE!, autograph from 1 member of the group only..
I thought watching them perform live would be a surreal experience, cos i've only watched them on my computer screen & on tv screen [i've got a DVD & saw them on Taiwanese tv show 舞林大道)
Hmph.. 感觉被敲了！$60 for a mini album with 6 songs + shiny large poster *pun intended* heartaches =x

Luckily the rooftop garden is cool with gd ventilation. It's much more comfortable there as i watch PF get all excited (自High-ing in progress) on seeing her fave Onew soon.. Many pple made their own advertisement for eg. 'I want Onew for Jonghyun' and waved it for other fans to see. 'Who has the Key to Minho?' -playing on the member Key's name .. on 1st look, one would think that she's lookin for Minho's ticket.. but no, read again.. it's the other way round~

As for me, I got one of my fave: rapper Minho's ticket, neednt exchange (this shows 我们有缘）keke

What made me LOL was this ad that reads: Who wants Taemin for anyone?
I feel so sad for Taemin, cos that fan dun want him... Out of the 5, that fan only didnt like Taemin & she just got his ticket~~
Well, i thot Taemin's very popular cos he's the lead dancer.. youngest & cutest-looking... Came to know that S'poreans dun like him that much only at the autograph session, with many pple holding his ticket wants to exchange..

One of my fav: Lead vocalist Jonghyun..
I love his voice... can't imagine SHINee's songs w/o his voice..

When his autograph Q was empty, he seemed happy & 'blobbed' ard on his seat & smiled in that cute manner.. Lookin' ard, seemingly thinking... Hmmmm.. Who's next???

Am so glad to be able to catch that cute moment when i was in front for 5 min.

Many pple like me wasn't too eager to get their autographs at that point in time.. Cos aft getting autograph, we'll have to leave rooftop garden = dun get to see them anymore!!

Thats why his Q was empty for a short while ---it's not as if he's unpopular ahaha..

Tried to take many pics of him while i was in line to get Minho's autograph..
It's really hard cos they arent seated onstage.. They are on level grd as us, fans just separate into 5 diff Qs leading to each member when they come near the front. I sympathise with those stuck outside rooftop garden.. I dun think they can given get a glimpse of SHINee cos all they see is just pple.. The stage's empty.. What a waste!!

So i can't even get a proper pic of Minho (=.='') we arent allowed to take photos of them when we're near them, that explains why my photos only show this lil bit of them. And there's just so many security officers, organisers & fans ard..

I tried to extend my time while i was in Minho's Q.. By walking in a zigzag manner, go right side to take pics of Jonghyun and left side to take pics of Taemin..

From my centre Q, i got a gd view of Taemin~
Sweet boy with a heartwarming smile.. After the autograph session, Taemin became Pekkie's new sunshine boy.. Hehe.. Pekkie 被电到了 xD I saw her announcement on FB, leading friends to query her 'What abt DBSK's Changmin???!' Lol.. Changmin's place in Pekkie's heart isn't that easily unsurped..

Key ---he's quite popular in S'pore.. No offence to Key-lovers.. They call themselves Locket or sth keke.. I think he looks gd only with quirky hairstyles like this + generous eye makeup.. I think he looks the most beautiful in the that CD's jacket & booklet.

I once pointed out the CD cover at HMV to Ida, she thot Key's a girl and became interested in the guy-girl mix group.. To her disappointment, i told her thats a guy =p

That 5 min seemed to pass SO FAST!!

Before i knew anything.. There wasn't anyone in front of me in the Q!!

I smiled (or did i?) & said Bye bye in a soft voice.. I doubt he can hear it.. Ahhhh.. Idol encounter ended so soon~ Minho's face is really v small, it's kinda out of proportion, for someone who's 180+, a small head just looks weird..

On the night SHINee returned to Korea, they attended a music awards ceremony.. What busy schedules they had.. Since i didnt get to watch them live.. I settle for the 2nd best yet again~~~

I've survived 2 crazy autograph sessions.. Actually it's 3.. Ahah.. nvm shan't delve into the details.. I've emerged STRONGER~~~~

P.S. I happened to sit beside an army guy on the bus just now.. He was those suay ones who'd to wear the new ugly lookin uniform. He was donning big white headphones on his head.. He was blasting some upbeat music. He was listening to SHINee's song A.M.I.G.O.

Me: *surprised* Yet not so surprised considering the fact that there were many guys at the autograph session, of course, much more girls turned up to skew the fan gender ratio =p

Wanted to blog about my birthday..
Had 4 celebrations (over dinners) for my birthday~~
But it has been 3 weeks, lost that blogging 'FeeL' le..

Just a short update as time flies whether or not u are having Fun:

Currently working and studying at the same time~~~
Working in a law firm & studying Visual Communication at NAFA
So my brain's divided into 2 sides : 1 side Law, 1 side Design
LOLs..

Busy, yes.. Tiring, definitely..
that's why i'm trying to blog when i'm supposedly working...
I hardly touched my home computer/laptop during the weekend as dance training & sch assignments keep me busy.. Need to pacify the sleep deficit accumulated all week, surviving only on less than 6 hours of sleep each day..

I reckon this job is better than my previous job ---in that IT distribution company, can slog till death.. Each person usually does a lot of things --Multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment is the Beautiful name for it.
WTF. In Reality, it's Acute Manpower shortage coupled with Extreme Cost-cutting measures.

That explains the high staff turnover rate & high no. of M'sians working in that local company. Reason being, S'poreans find it easier to 'jump ship' --no bothersome Work Permits to apply. In eg, I entered the company ard the same time as 4 other M'sians.. All 4 are still slogging their guts out back there. While i'm shaking legs somewhere else now. Hehe~

Decided to quit & take a break to recuperate~ Just so happened to flip thru Classifieds saw this job adv, sent my resume.. got shortlisted for interview & tadah! I'm into my new job~^^

Will probably blog more about this job after i quit.. Cos of job confidentiality issues.. I didnt talk much abt my prev job in the IT firm too, cos if i did, it'll prob be expletives-ridden = dun suit my cute image sia!~
Hehe..
Somemore, all these legal cases/files that we are handling are supposedly Private & Confidential.. Shhhh, cannot tell..
But there's many interesting stories to tell.. Funny cases, weird people, people with too much money to burn, etc.

No celebrity cases tho..
But thanks to this job, i got to see a murderer and a molester in person ---Previously, i've only seen those pple in the TV news snippets & newspaper articles.

All in all, working in a totally unfamiliar environment is very interesting can be stressful at the same time cos i aren't legally trained, just picking up bits & pieces along the way..

With my A Level standard English, i reckon i fare better than the others (N, O Level pple) Heehee..

Korean stars are getting v popular in SG. Rmb BOF's Lee Minho had to cancel an appearance at Plaza Sing cos the mall was overcrowded by his fans.

SM Entertainment artistes have nv been to S'pore as far as i know (and i know i know quite a lot about them =p)

Even my bro talks abt how 'the one i'm waiting for is not coming here' & asked me whether i'm really gg to see SHINee.. I like, but of course dun love them as much as DBSK.

Christmas Outing at Minds Cafe~~

First time gg the Minds Cafe outlet opp Pomo (formerly Paradiz Ctr)
Expected it to be crowded during peak Xmas season, surprisingly it wasn't.. Hehehe..
There's like 9 of us.. So we played those games catered to big groups (not many actually)
Anw, we only played 2 games.. Saboteur card game.. I drew the 'Saboteur' card twice so i became the people who're supposed to sabotage the gold seeking mission that the rest are working towards..

2nd game's Jenga.. The wooden version of Uno Stacko.. It's Jenga True or Dare, supposed to do whatever's said on the brick/tile drawn out from the Stack.
Luckily it didnt collapse during my turn..

Went Billy Bombers for their 1-for-1 main course, spending less than $8 each for dining in a restaurant setting.. Hehe.. Value-for-money~~~ Cos these days fast food restaurants dining aren't cheap too.. Was surprised at the extra value meal i ordered -bill amounting to $7.70 oh wth.. It's just McDonalds.. And the portions are getting smaller..

I like the thick fries.. Reminds me of MOS Burger fries~^^
It's just the rectangular version they serve over here..
YW didnt like it somehow, so i helped her to finish her share..

9 dec 313 Somerset & Orchard~ With YW & XZ

Visited the newly opened 313 Somerset for the 2nd time..
Went after work = Night Time = Lil time to shop

So didnt get to shop in 313 again.. Not that the shops there are v special, there's like dime a dozen of them all over SG.

Spent most of our time in KFC for dinner~ Had a good time talking abt work life/intern life in law firms.. It seems a whole lot more interesting than life in an accounting/audit firm..
Exciting cases or just interesting cases leaning towards the lines of absurdity..
Ahhhh there's just plenty of rich people with money to burn..

After which we took a stroll down Orchard Rd..

It's just for myself & i reckon few of my friends would want it............. Unless they're Big Bang's fans..

Ordered another Official Calendar last week.. It's SHINee's desktop calendar.. I think it's gg to arrive from Korea only next year =x i should've earlier..

I went to both celebrations on 1 day~ *such a busy day* Though it's on a friday, it's a public hol!
But several friends can't join us cos they're busy mugging for exams..

Watched the movie Gokusen at Vivocity's GV..
A Japanese movie based on a popular drama series (2002, 2005, 2008), i'm the only one who'd watched that drama b4 (only the 2005 one with my dearie Kame + Jin) judging from the drama, i think it's gonna be an entertaining movie.. So we chose it..

Cos for birthday celebration, i dun think XZ will want to watch horror or disaster movie.. Hehe.. A comedy would be best~

Just laugh off the exaggerated movie sequences.

Girls can't stop squealing whenever Kame pops onscreen.. Okies i know the fangirls are drooling all over Kame on the big big screen.. I turned and looked at 2 of them sitting behind, they are somehow huddled close togt & squealing in their seats (trying to keep their fangirling hush-hush?) Can't help but grin when i see their reaction.

I'm not one of those fangirls, probably never was..
I still like Kame but wouldn't have much of a reaction when i see him onscreen (probably widened eyes + can't stop staring) --- will blog about that in another post

The movie provides a nice ending to the Gokusen series, many Gokusen 1 & 2 characters came back as guest stars. Meeting their teacher & letting her know that they're no longer rebellious youngsters, doing well in their respective lives..

When Shun Oguri & another actor 成宫宽贵 (from part 1) made appearances (mere minute) they attracted exasperated squeals from around the cinema hall =p

I was like ney.. expected~~

I just didnt expect them to come back as guest stars.. but where's Jun Matsumoto & Akanishi Jin?

They're too popular now & became too expensive to hire?!?!? Lol..

Back to our Vivo rooftop celebration.. It was a real good day (night) to be there, breezy cool wind~~~ Many people flocked there prob cos of that, managed to source a good site near the railings..

But the cool breeze/wind made lighting the candles a challenging task..

Quickly took picture b4 the candle flames gets blown off by the wind~~~~~~~~~~ hoohoohoo..

So quickly YW took, she didnt position e frame well, me.. the extra got caught into the picture..

There came another one.. Blur + My leg's the calefare~

Third one, birthday girl Xiuz with my arm & leg as calefare.. Hehe..

I pasted the cute rabbit card on the paper bag =p if u see closely enough, there's a 'pouch' on the rabbit card, hiding 2 long dangling strings w cutesy mini pics. The bag would look real cute with the 2 strings dangling..

I went for lunch at PP carrying the big paperbag with XZ's present for the whole day hehe.. No worries, since Cloud's so caring, the paperbag reached XZ's hands in one piece.

The fried swordfish came in a large pan.. Like those pizza pans.. Hehe.. Didnt know how to start.. Thanks to Mich who helped me by cutting the 'start lines' Tralala... Swordfish's crispy on the outside, soft on the inside.. NICE!~

Hmm on hindsight, there's many food i dunno how to eat, like crabs, whole chicken on a plate.... I'll be like 'hur?.... how to start?' *puzzled look with puppy eyes*

Update!

Yeps, wanted to update my blog with Birthday Celebration Part III & IV.. And then i realised the pictures for both are saved in my computer (i'm using the laptop now)

Conclusion: Due to my Baka Brain.. Not blogging abt them today..

Haiz, both events were on last Sat, it's been a few days alrdy but i've yet to find time to blog earlier~ After working life starts, it's hard to find spare time to do your own stuff.

Okie, other than the Always Online @ Work by signing in msn, tho i hardly chat.. And occasionally go surfing to read my kpop stuff..

As for work, it's still easy on me now cos the person that i'm supposed to replace is still in the office.. Hehe once she leaves company, i'll have to shoulder all (almost all) of her work..

It'll be sometime before i get the hang of things. Cos i aren't legally trained.

What's an Affidavit? Order of Court Obtained in Chambers? Judgment Order 13? Notary Public? Commissioner of Oaths?

Birthday Posts Part II

2nd story of birthday celebrations~^^ Long due le..

Shall start with a picture of the bday girl
Si hui!!!

We got her a cake with a candle at Cafe Cartel, i love their cakes! Esp after 9pm, half priced cakes, though the range of 'discounted' cakes are lesser, we're lucky to have chocolate & cheesecakes still available that night.

Shall start off with dinner..

At Manpuku in Tamp One.. 1st time eating there, though i've walked past that place umpteen times.. It seems a popular food haunt for jap food lovers (ahh thats me!)

Ate cha siew ramen.. Taste ok, i find the broth nicer than Ajisen's other than that, i think the ramen tastes the same..

The concept of Manpuku's like a jap food court, provide a main eating area with multiple stalls that diners can patronise, but instead of cash, it's a food card payment at each stall. One-off payment of all the food's at the cashier b4 leaving the premises.
There's a western food style stall which i wanted to try the next time, the beef & chicken & pork meat patties seems delicious~^^

But i wont be trying the sushi counter, firstly the sushi's ex & if i wanna eat sushi, i wouldnt be heading to Manpuku, cos i like to see my sushi travelling in an enticing manner on the conveyor belt.. Lol..

It had been sometime since i used matches, i prefer using matches over lighters, cos many a times, lighter dun work & pple who dun really know how to use lighters (me?) may get burnt as it gets pretty hot near the rolling lighting switch.
1 match will do, won't cos much wastage de~ Me got swift lighting match skill^^

Cloud had a good nite with the gals..

U often realise that competence is important, but cooperation with team members is the part & parcel of success..

Part 1 of Backdating entries^^

The problem with me writing backdating entries is that, my memory shucks..
Okies, i shall try my best to remember =p

Samarx & I planned a 'surprise' for Cindy.. Not letting her know who's coming to her birthday celebration.. I was the only 1 contacting her, i was supposed to meet her at the stipulated time (by now, i forgot le.. hehehe..) but i told her i'm late & YW's at Raffles City..
That's giving her the 1st clue.. She was wondering why i was telling her where YW was, am i asking her to find YW? Hehe..

Then next clue will lead Cindy to Esplanade where Vita & ZY are~
After finding V & ZY.. She found Samarx, me & June.. Sam's gd at coming up with the clue 'Citylink's cold coffee'
Misleading them to tcc initially, before walking back to Starbucks where we were sitting/hiding.
Last stop's at Marina Square.. V easy to find Jo & HJ lounging on the sofas in the middle of Mac.. hehe..

We succeeded in making the birthday girl (as well as the rest of the gals who accompanied her throughout the journey) hungry before heading to Changing Appetites for dinner^^

yoz.. This is the first time Cloud's blogging from her mobile phone..

Bought this nokia xpress music phone 2 weeks ago din know it's wi-fi enabled.. Juz randomly tried to connect to internet on phone to download an application.. Turned out that i can use it to surf net at home using wireless internet.. But i dun have a Wireless @ Sg account.. If not i can surf on my phone at so many wireless hotspots^^

So happy with my latest 'discovery' hehe.. Lalala.. Went youtube to check out latest music videos of who else? Hehe.. Who else can they be?
Jejung & Yoochun -a 'new' duo formed by 2 members of DBSK with their new single Colors -Melody & Harmony which debut at e top of Japan's Oricon chart ard 2-3 weeks ago.. 3 cheers for them! 2 of them sport similar hairstyles, in diff color.. I like Micky's hair that way (^.^)

Watched Shinee's RDD.. Aka ring ding dong if i aren't wrong.. Yes, sounds cheesy arh.. The english parts of the lyrics sounds darn cheesy.. Wat ring ring ring ding ding ding.. Heard from local radio show about Korean pop idol Kangin from Super Junior's DUI (drinking under influence of alcohol) + Hit & Run case, decided to surf Kpop sites for more news..

Btw that's him on the bottom right.. Took this 4-in-1 pic from the Kpop site, the title for this is October curse.. Clockwise from top left, Jaebeom (2PM), Shin Hye Sung (Shihwah), Kangin (Super Junior), Hero, Xiah, Micky (Dong Bang Shin Ki)..

There's a long list of korean celebrities/groups with unfortunate things befalling on them.. Kim Hyun Joong (SS501), G-Dragon (Big Bang)....
Too long to post here.. And i need sometime to understand the cases before presenting my view/post..

Oh boy, those that i've listed are from korean boybands... Is it the Curse of the Boybands or what? Hmm..

Found out that Kangin's company SM Ent put him on hiatus till end of the year (keeping him away from the spotlight but it can't keep away from controversy) Hit & Run case's quite serious.. But he felt guilty & turned himself in several hours later. He tried to hide his celebrity status from the police, identifying himself as Kim Young Woon (real name) a college student. The police officers (who apparently didnt watch tv & listen to pop music for several years) were unaware that the guy sitting in front of them's a well-known celebrity.

Ultimately, bad news always travel FAST... He didnt manage to hide for long..

This case is like adding fuel to fire -----------Fire: he was involved in a brawl last month but he claims innocence.. Fuel: Confessed to Hit & Run under DUI yesterday..

Gone case liao la.... What's up with u Kangin?!?!?!?

Reminds me of DBSK's Jaejoong's DUI several years back... SM Ent put him on hiatus to let him fan2 xing3 fan2 xing3..

Korean netizens are going into a tizzy.. Some asking him to leave SM Ent & Super Junior..

Those 'statements' caused widespread outrage in Korea..
So his company JYP Ent let him resign (or did they force him to quit & leave Korea???????????)

Fans staged silent protests at 2pm outside JYP HQs (spot the 'irony'... how nice)... Protest was cut short due to police intervention..
They staged boycott of all JYP Ent's artistes unless JYP brings back Jaebeom..

Ard 1000 2PM's CDs were piled outside the company..

How their respective companies handled the matters..
How Jaebeom got booted out of Korea though he hadnt harmed anyone.. whereas Kangin endangered others' lives with iresponsible behaviour & yet can still stay in his idol group & company..

In this era where information travels faster than the aeroplane, whatever you do, whatever you post online................ You may even have forgotten you did/said that..

Had a surprising discovery from the Kpop news site.

Kim Bum's new hairstyle transformation for a new movie Emergency's unveiled!!

Many pple have gotten used to (or rather, fallen in love with) his charming prince-like looks with a warm killer smile.. from idol drama Boys Over Flowers.. I think he portrayed the artistic ceramic talent really well.

He's my fav out of the Korean F4^v^

He's gonna be a bad guy i think.
Trying to portray a darker image.. It clashes with his previous smiling sunshine boy's image..
So he has to try harder than others..

That probably explains the cornrows on his head..

And this cornrow style is getting popular in Korea?? BoA had that style in her prev album.. I thought she looked cool.. Big Bang's Taeyang & TOP looked uber cool too.. As for Kim Bum?

Hmmmm.. I still think the Prince Charming image suit him better.. Nevertheless looking forward to the movie..

Upon login, i realised i'd neglected this place for a month.. Time flies even when u're not exactly having fun.. Lols..
Spent the past 3 months working..
First taste of working in an office.. Starting out in the retail sales dept as sales admin coordinator for about 3 weeks... Then changed department to do HR Accounts admin..
Thinkin' back 3 months seem to pass neither slowly or quickly..
There were so many many things that i wanted2 blog, but put off cos i was tired after work due to diff reason..
In the sales position, i spent at least 7 hrs staring at the computer screen.. It makes sense to let my eyes rest at night before gg2 work the next day ---for another round of work (yes, work is never-ending) and for those who know me well, hehe u'll know that i've high high HIGH seriously high degree myopia.. So all the more i should take care of my eyes..

In the HR Accounts position, i returned home mentally & physically tired, just no mood to blog, so cui just have enough energy to sink into the sofa and watch TV..

Okie, that explains my cobweb laden blog for the past few months~~
Exact details i shall update when i've time..
It's gg2 be a longggg story & i havent figured out how to put it in a condensed manner.. I'll think about it..

Taste's Awesome!! Now i know frozen BBQ sauce seasoned unagi taste the same as those sold outside.. Shan't order unagi for my bento sets from now on. Buying the whole fillet ($3+) and heating it in the oven/microwave is so much better =p

-Smoke emitted from all those Mid-month offering incense burning is making me incensed.
Can't understand why some pple are so inconsiderate + environmentally unfriendly as they're burning such HUGE amts of incense paper that it generated a 1 storey high flames (yes, i see bright ORANGE FLAMES raging high at 1am last night) And those 2 aunties just left it BURNING... No basic courtesy to stay and watch to make sure it's not gg2 create a fire & raze the trees in the surroundings, the freakin' tall flames made cabbies who drove by slow down to check out whats happening.

*The wind brought smoke into her house, despite closing the windows till it's oh-so-stuffy for hours, the smoky scent lingered on.
She smells like smoked/BBQ steak =x
She hates it*

-Samsung phone's spoilt..
I think when Si told me i'm the only 1 (out of 3 who had the same phone) still using the phone w/o problems, I was glad to be a Caring owner of my phone. Forgot to touch wood & pray that my phone would be able to last longer than theirs.
2 weeks later, my phone started to give me problems..
Alamak!! Where's the wood? Pass me some Wooddddd!!!

The speaker/receiver's not working, so i can't hear a thing when answering phone calls..
And i discovered today that it can't play music and my ringtones..
Holli Sheeet..
I am a "proud" owner of a phone that don't let me answer phone calls & it's in permanent silent mode.

So for now, when there's anything serious/urgent/life-threatening & whatever, dun bother to call my handphone cos it's likely that i cant hear whatcha saying/u can scream/screech/complain/grumble/mumble all you can.. I wouldn't know..
Sorry arh.. Sms me, i can still read it, may be a lil lag tho, cos i can't hear any sms alert tone, i just check my phone as & when i rmb.. Windows live msn also can =)

Okies, a bit of background info..
GD's band leader of Big Bang --wildly popular band in Korea, the only band that can rival DBSK in terms of popularity stakes, but since their music, genre & styles are different.. There's no clashes in interest whatsoever..

I'm freeee to love them both..

2nd member from Big Bang to launch solo singing career.. I didnt notice him initially.. It was Taeyang who caught my attention. Big Bang didnt -occur to me as a typical boyband, cos looks-wise, they seriously dont have that boyband-ish look. Sure, they dance & sing.. Also rap..

But they certainly don't portray themselves as 5 perfect Prince Charmings, try their best to get into media pple's good books by saying all the nice things (official stuff), which kinda siann when u know ahhh, how can it be? Not possible right? Someone wrote the script for u right? Whenever i hear boybands/girl groups (esp those new ones) speak to media.

Love their music style..
They got an ATTITUDE.. The Korean Bengs??
Their trademark's dark eyeliner.
The smug i know u're lookin' at me but i die-die don't want to smile & act cool look.
The i know i'm cool so what? if u dun like come get me type of expression..

GD's Heartbreaker & Breathe.. His styling (esp hair color) resembles Lady Gaga, songs-wise the Euro beats resemble Britney.. Hehe..

Hence inspire my new msn personal msg: G-dragon's a cross between Lady Gaga & Britney..
Don't sound like a sound description for a guy.. Hehs..

But he's got the androgynous styling & makeup in his debut solo album, is it really an intentional attempt in marketing him as Korean's answer to Lady Gaga?

The cameramen are kinda biased towards 2PM's Nickhun (i know he's a cute American with a good Thai-Chinese mix heritage) but constant zooming in on his oh-so-cute-it's-kawaii facial expressions as he watched the performance from the side of the stage.
Makes it hard to believe that the cameramen are guys.. Okies, maybe the video cameras are female *keke*

But thats not the main point.. The first part of this variety show feats acrobats from Europe/Russia?? I can't tell hehe..
Just like Caucasians can't tell the diff between Asians.. Be it Chinese, Japanese or Korean.. We all look the same to them.
So likewise don't ask me which country this European comes from.. Germany? France? Spain? Paiseh, all same same la hor??

Haven't been in the mood to blog.. Zzzz... Time flies when one's working:

Early morning wake up, prepare for work, reach workplace, start working....

Evening, head home, watch tv while having dinner.. Tired already.. There's nothing much that can be achieved in the few hours at home (minus Zzzz hours)..

Next day, it's the same cycle..

Did she mention she changed job? Aka changed dept actually..

From Sales Dept to Admin Dept.. Now she's HR Admin Accounts Asst.. A lot busier with more deadlines to meet.. HR matters involve much paperwork too.. Leave forms, MCs, staff claims, etc.. She havent learnt enough to go on to the payroll part.. Hehe, if not she will know who-earn-how-much.. Hehs..

She likes to gain more work experience.. Though the pay still shucks.. Wth..

She's ever so fickle, spent almost a mth in Sales dept, got super duper sian by the repetitive nature of the job.. Got a change in dept unexpectedly, a 'fresh' new start.. A few more weeks passed~~~ See how long she can last..

Thats also how she can remember much of the happy times she spent with her friends..

To get herself started, she started this post with a photo taken from an interesting angle~^^
Wanted to self-take some photos by putting cameras on the small space beside the mall railings, the first photo turned out quite well unexpectedly.. The angle made us look so CUTE~
Subsequent 'deliberate' attempts to recreate this failed.. Somehow someone'll get cut out of the picture. So this is the best shot (although she wish she was 10cm taller or sth so she won't be blocked)...

Just came back from outing with her dearie sec sch friends.. CY, HJ, Mel, Si, XZ, YW. The last time she saw Mel was in May, 3 months on, Mel's amazed at her hair length.. Hehe.. And she hadn't seen CY who'd been in Europe for exchange for more than half a year.. A cosy gathering at Ajisen Ramen, the reservation of seats aren't allowed on peak period Sat nite.. Have got to 'manually book' seats, thanks Si who arrived early. As for Cloud? She arrived last =x Oops!

First time trying the ramen at Ajisen, not bad neh.. Just that her Spicy Octopus ramen set contains such small octopus that she forgot she ordered octopus ramen (need to toss and turn the ramen to find small bits of octopus) And the amazing thing was, she didnt know it was one of the few ramen that wasn't soup-based until the food arrived. Lols.. So she told herself next time she has to try eating soup-based ramen there as the broth is usually made with special/good ingredients. Overall, that 干捞面spicy enough, not bad neh..

After dinner, walked around TM, she bought a shiny bling-bling bracelet from Mini Bits.. Cos there was discount (nvm that she doesn't really wear bracelets)
And what else?
Started photo-taking session.. Hehe..

She watched tv, was online & stuff, did all whatever-not except sleep early.. Lols..

She hasn't gone to the cinema in like more than half a year? *gasps*
There's many movies she wanted to watch sometimes, so she end up not watching at all (to be fair?) hmm, no.. it's because she can't decide which to catch & she doesn't have movie buffs as buddies who'd jio her to watch the latest blockbuster/indie movie.
But XZ's many notches higher... The prev time she went to the cinema was in 2006 ---we watched King & The Clown at PS.. When told, she almost fainted~ *dots.. XZ u're pro!!*

So unlike typical young (also not so young) people.

She's entering the FT Island fandom..

Though she has already too lil time to pursue too many things she has in mind.

But that's just so her style~~~~
